Deadly wave of attacks kills 153 |
Deadly violence rocks central Iraq, killing at least 153 people and wounding more than 300 others, police say. Al Qaeda in Iraq apparently has said it is responsible, saying the attacks are in retaliation for the U.S.-Iraqi military offensive in the northern Iraqi city of Tal Afar.
