Filibuster deal sets stage for vote on judge |
With a bipartisan deal reached on filibusters, the Senate may vote today on the long-delayed nomination of Judge Priscilla Owen to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Under the agreement, three of Bush's nominees -- including Owen -- will go forward, while two others remain subject to filibuster.
