PLEDGE IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES SPARKS CONTROVERSY.
March 10, 2005 - 17:21
A high school in Maryland decided to celebrate foreign language week by reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in French, Spanish, Russian and Korean during the course of the week. One 15 year old student, Patrick Linton, decided to sit it out. His father was furious that his son was asked to Pledge in a foreign language and is seeking to stop the school from repeating what he sees as an act of disrespect. The school says they are recognizing the diversity of the student body. I say it is an example of nitwittery in its purest form. CLICK HERE. |

CAN HAROLD RUN FROM JOHN?
March 10, 2005 - 17:24
Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. wants to run for the U.S. Senate. He planned to announce his campaign plans officially a few weeks ago. But then the latest round of scandals involving his uncle, State Sen. John Ford, erupted. Since that time, Harold has not ben able to find an opening to announce his plans without the prospect of the announcement being overshadowed by more bad news about his uncle's ethical lapses. We haven't even begun to look into his dad's record yet. Anyway, it now appears that Harold may not run for the Senate afterall. Who will the democrats turn to next? CLICK HERE. |

ALAMO FLAG FOUND IN MEXICAN MUSEUM.
March 10, 2005 - 17:24
A flag that flew over the Alamo may someday return home to Texas. Mexican officials have long claimed that the flag was "lost", but a reporter touring a museum in Mexico found it on display. Guess they lied, huh? They apparently want to work out a trade. How about this, we'll send one million Mexican illegals back to them, we get the flag. If they don't go for that, send EIGHT MILLION illegals back to Mexico and let them keep the doggone flag. CLICK HERE. |
