CONSERVATIVE KNOXVILLE COLUMNIST ENDORSES FORD.
October 11, 2006 - 20:42

Conservative columnist and Republican political activist Frank Cagle of Knoxville has endorsed Harold Ford, Jr. in the race for the U.S. Senate in Tennessee. I'm not kidding. Read his reasoning HERE.

TEACHERS UNION PROPOSES PAYING KIDS FOR PERFORMANCE.
October 11, 2006 - 07:30
The Metro Nashville teachers union that rejected a $400,000 bonus plan for teachers who produce results with their school kids has proposed paying the money to the kids themselves. I suspect there are major loopholes in the details of this proposal; ultimately, any plan the union supports will be a lockstep plan that pays the best and worst teachers the same amount of money. Our schools will not improve as long as we reward "showing up" instead of excellence. CLICK HERE.

CORKER AND FORD SPAR ON WIDE VARIETY OF ISSUES.
October 11, 2006 - 07:32
The second debate between Ford and Corker was a little better than the first, but the promised fireworks never really materialized. The final televised debate is in a few weeks. In the meantime, the negative attack ads will have to suffice for those seeking insight on who to support. CLICK HERE.

CORNYN CASTS DOUBT ON FENCE CONSTRUCTION.
October 11, 2006 - 07:33
Texas Senator John Cornyn has serious doubts that the much touted border fence will ever be built, despite overwhelming support for the project by the American people. CLICK HERE.

BUSH STILL TOUTING AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS!
October 11, 2006 - 07:39

It is abundantly clear that President Bush is either completely unwilling to listen to the American people on the issue of amnesty for illegals or he is retarded. There is overwheming opposition to giving those who have broken our laws a reward for doing so. The issue is not even close. But President Bush STILL insists that giving legal status to illegals is his goal. Since he is not up for re-election he may not care about winning or losing votes anymore, but if Republicans do not make it absolutely clear that he does not speak for them, and that he will be irrelevant on this issue for the next two years, there is absolutley no reason to vote for Republicans in the U.S. Senate or House. It may not be possible to wake W. up on this issue, but spanking the Republican party at the ballot box may be the only way to wake up the rest of the band of nitwits in Washington. CLICK HERE.

DEMOCRATS IN OHIO MAY SUFFER FROM FOLEY SCANDAL.
October 11, 2006 - 07:42
Democrats have been playing the "Foley card" in campaigns all over the country in the past week, but the Democrat for Governor in Ohio may lose his race over the issue since it turns out his voting record on pedophilia is weak, at best. CLICK HERE.

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS HITS WILLIAM & MARY.
October 11, 2006 - 07:46
The College of William & Mary is phasing out the feathers in an attempt to appease Native Americans who might be offended. Is anybody REALLY offended by this logo? CLICK HERE.

ANOTHER LIBERAL LOSES IT.
October 11, 2006 - 07:48
Barbara Streisand can dish it out, but she clearly can't take it. After a sketch portraying President Bush as a bumbling idiot Babs dropped an f-bomb on a heckler in the audience who foolishly thought he was attending a MUSICAL concert rather than a political rally. When was her last hit???? CLICK HERE.

October 11, 2006 - 07:50

FBI HAS LIMITED ARABIC LANGUAGE SKILLS.
October 11, 2006 - 08:30
Only 33 FBI agents have any language skills in Arabic. 33. And many of those 33 only posess the bare minimum skills. We are at war, and can't even read the plans of our enemies...if we get hold of them. The terrorist certainly know our language, particularly since many of them were educated at out expense at our own universities! If the Bush Administration is serious about the war on terror, don't you think they would get serious about making sure we have a sufficient number of people in our intelligence and law enforcement agencies who speak and read Arabic? CLICK HERE.

IS CURSIVE WRITING A THING OF THE PAST?
October 11, 2006 - 08:33
Do you remember how it felt to begin learning to write in cursive when you were in school? It was one of those steps toward becoming a "big boy" or "big girl". And if you had really bad handwriting it was the first step towards becoming a medical doctor. CLICK HERE.

GAY COUPLES FINDING BORDER ISSUES A BLOCK TO LOVE.
October 11, 2006 - 08:47
The latest salvo from the Left, as they try to beat back efforts to enforce America's immigration laws, is the fear that enforcement of our laws will mean gay couples will be forced into separation due to one of the partners being illegal. I am sure this kind of story will turn the tide against the overwhelming desire of American voters to see illegal aliens booted out of this country...NOT!! CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
