IS IT BRAGGING IF YOU ADMIT IT WAS "LUCK"??
June 12, 2006 - 07:03
I got my first "hole in one" as a golfer on Friday. It wasn't even at Putt Putt. Par 3 #5 at the Little Course in Franklin. 137 yards. 9 iron. I took Patrick and Ryan to play nine holes and thought I had lost the ball, until Ryan looked in the cup and shouted "here it is." It would have been the last place I would have looked.  If you are ever going to get a hole in one, doing it with your sons watching is about as good as it gets. Unless you win a car or something.

OK, MAYBE THIS IS NOT THE EXACT HOLE, BUT IT IS HOW I REMEMBER IT.

THE NEXT BIG ENVIRONMENTAL THREAT?
June 12, 2006 - 08:48
Don't tell Algore, but when you wash your jeans you may be helping to hasten the collapse of the world environment. The checklist grows: no aerosol cans, no SUVs, use only recycled goods, and don't wash your clothes. Thank goodness we have the Left to set us straight. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
