MIDDLE TENNESSEE LAWMAKERS RAKE IN THE DOUGH.
March 14, 2005 - 06:22
Middle Tennessee legislators, many living just a few miles from Capitol Hill, are receiving thousands of dollars in "expense reimbursement" without incurring the expenses. Would your boss let you get away with this? Many of these legislators dine out nightly on the tab of lobbyists who cannot legally buy them a cup of coffee but can buy them an expensive steak dinner at Mortons or the Palm. Some of the legislators claim the money helps them make up for lost income due to their time away from their regular jobs, but they knew the pay when they signed on for the legislative jobs. If they can't handle the cost of public service, quit! Don't lie to get financial reimbursement for "travel" expenses in order to boost your income. Republicans and Democrats alike are part of this scam, and both should be condemned for it. CLICK HERE.

JACKSON ACCUSER IN COURT AGAIN. JACKSON ACCUSER IN COURT AGAIN.
March 14, 2005 - 06:29
The young man accusing Michael Jackson of molesting him will be back on the witness stand today. Either Michael molested him or his mother is doing it now by getting him to falsely testify for money (as Michael's attorneys claim). Either way, this kid deserved much better. CLICK HERE.

BET BRUCE LOVES THIS.
March 14, 2005 - 06:29
Ashton "Punk'd" Kutcher and Demi Moore may be over a decade apart in age, but a new baby may bring them closer together. Ashton's only 11 years older than Demi's son Rumor, by the way. I wonder what Bruce Willis thinks about all of this? CLICK HERE.

BUZZ GETS THE BOOT. BUZZ GETS THE BOOT.
March 14, 2005 - 06:30
UT basketball coach Buzz Peterson has reportedly been fired. The official announcement will come in a press conference scheduled for later today. Good guy; didn't get the job done. He still gets a $1.3+ million parting gift from the University. CLICK HERE.

ACLU DRIVING SCOUTS OUT OF SCHOOLS.
March 14, 2005 - 06:30
Has the ACLU ever done ANYTHING good for this country? Ever? Can you even think of ONE thing? CLICK HERE.

WASCALLY WABBIT.
March 14, 2005 - 06:31
The PC crowd has a new target in its sights: The Easter Bunny. Like Santa, the fact that the Easter Bunny has absolutely no religious significance whatsoever does not deter the anti-religionists in this country from going nutso over anything and everything that might even be marginally connected to Christian religion. Pure nitwittery. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
