HELPING HANDS DO A GOOD TURN ON GOOD FRIDAY!

Purina One donated an entire semi-truck full of dog and cat food (about 40,000 pounds) for the Sumner County Human Shelter. Over a hundred volunteers turned out to help unload the truck. The pet food is also available to "foster parents" and those whose houses were damaged or destroyed by the tornado. Check out the Humane Society's website for more details. CLICK HERE.

Apparently it does offend the folks at Cool Springs Galleria Mall. The management at the mall has demanded that the tiny American flag be immediately removed because it should only be displayed during "appropriate holidays." We'll talk about it Monday morning.

Ophelia Ford's time in the State Senate is about to come to an end. The vote in the committee was 4-1, only Senator Joe Haynes sees nothing wrong with the Memphis election that featured dead voters, felons voting and people who admittedly live outside the district casting votes. CLICK HERE.
