TAX HIKE DEFEATED BY TWO TO ONE MARGIN.
September 14, 2005 - 05:37
At the end of the day it wasn't even close. Nashville taxpayers rejected a half cent sales tax increase by a 70% to 30% margin. Now the school officials are saying they will have to enact major cuts (intended to punish the kids because taxpayers are holding the school board accountable.) Did you know that Nashville/Davidson County currently spends over $8,885 per student? That is about $2,000 more per child than the state average. In fact, only three of Tennessee's 136 school districts spend more per student to educate children than Metro does. Yet the test scores for Metro don't rank among the top three districts in the state. Money does matter. It matters HOW you spend it, not just HOW MUCH you spend.  CLICK HERE.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT. THE TRUTH COMES OUT.
September 14, 2005 - 06:00
A Louisiana Congressman diverted several National Guardsmen from their rescue duties during the height of the Katrina crisis to visit his home. Now we know why the politicos were so anxious to get the federal forces in town, they wanted the same sort of special treatment that Congressman Jefferson got. CLICK HERE.

TANCREDO SAYS CRESCENT MEMORIAL IS UNSUITABLE. TANCREDO SAYS CRESCENT MEMORIAL IS UNSUITABLE.
September 14, 2005 - 06:02
Congressman Tom Tancredo is one of the few congressional voices speaking out against a controversial memorial to victims of Flight 93 on September 11 that appears to pay tribute to the fundamentalist Islamic terrorists who killed the innocents on that plane. CLICK HERE.

PEACEFUL PALESTINIANS TORCH ISRAELI SYNAGOGUES.
September 14, 2005 - 06:06

The peaceful and tolerant face of Islam was on display the last few days, but the mainstream media has turned a blind eye in order to prevent the truth from being seen. As Israel evacuated settlers from the Gaza, violent looters burned synagogues and looted everything in sight. As usual the Palestinians blamed the Jews for not tearing down the houses of worship before they left. CLICK HERE.

ANOTHER RAPE OF A YOUNG GIRL BY A KATRINA EVACUEE.
September 14, 2005 - 06:08
A 13 year old girl in West Virginia is the latest victim of the humanitarian dispersal of looters, rapists and criminals around the country in the wake of Hurrican Katrina. CLICK HERE.

OFFICIAL DEATH TOLL IN NEW ORLEANS IS AT 423.
September 14, 2005 - 06:20
Sad, but far from the hysterical predictions of 10,000 dead by the less than stable Mayor Nagin. Since there are less dead than claimed, doesn't that mean President Bush saved the lives of 9,500 people? CLICK HERE.

NASHVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS SENDING THEIR KIDS TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS.
September 14, 2005 - 08:24
Shouldn't it bother us that more than 28% of our public school teachers, who know our schools best, are sending their own kids to private schools? CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
