MARINES PROSECUTE ONE OF THEIR OWN WARRIORS.
February 15, 2005 - 09:49
A lot of folks are rightfully upset that the Marines seem to be moving ahead with murder charges against an officer who killed insurgents who appeared to be attempting to attack him and his men. CLICK HERE.

GAY PENGUIN UPDATE, II GAY PENGUIN UPDATE, II
February 15, 2005 - 09:50
More news from Germany about the gay penguins at the Bremerhaven zoo. Officials at the zoo used imported Swedish female penguins to tempt 6 gay male penguins into romance. After the effort to break up the guys failed, the zoo said they would try again next spring. But now, I am NOT making this up, gay rights organizations have interceded in defense of the guys' right to choose their sexual partners and the zoo has decided to leave them be. Now even penguins have gay rights groups? CLICK HERE.

FIRST POLL SHOWS TIGHT RACE FOR HILLARY AND CONDI FIRST POLL SHOWS TIGHT RACE FOR HILLARY AND CONDI
February 15, 2005 - 09:52
The first poll analyzing a potential matchup of Hillary Clinton versus Condi Rice in the 2008 Presidential Race has Hillary leading 47-40%. The poll was taken BEFORE Condi's successful first tour of Europe as Secretary of State. The more America sees of Condi the more they are going to like her. The same cannot be said of Hillary. CALIFORNIA CONSIDERS TAXING DRIVERS ON A MILEAGE BASIS.
February 15, 2005 - 09:56
California legislators are looking for new ways to tax drivers in the wake of the growth of hybrid vehicles that use a lot less gas than the gas guzzlers of the past. It seems that as people shift to the hydrogen vehicles that don't use gas, the gasoline tax revenues may decline. Thus, legislators want to tax cars based on mileage rather than gas consumption. If they really want people to move toward the more eco-friendly hydrogen vehicles, maybe they should keep them tax free for just a while longer. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
