DEAN IMPLIES BUSH IS RACIST EVEN AS HE DENIES IT.
September 15, 2005 - 16:54
Although DNC Chairman Howard Dean is denying he thinks the President is racist in his policies, from the standpoint of instituting policies that he apparently knows will hurt minorities and the poor and ignoring those same people in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, there is no doubt that he is seeking to give that impression while avoiding the words themselves. He is leaving his allies like Kanye West, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and Louis Farrakhan to do the actual dirty work. He HAS specifically claimed that "this President [does not care] about everybody in America" and that those he does not care about are the poor and minorities. CLICK HERE.
And despite his claims to the contrary on Thursday morning, he has clearly implied that the Bush Administration slow-walked assistance efforts in New Orleans because of the race and economic status of those who were suffering. CLICK HERE.
While Dean has not engaged in the racist rhetoric of his buddies (Jesse, Al, Kanye, and Louis) he has also not condemned their race-based rants. |

DEAN ALSO MISREPRESENTS THE KELO CASE.
September 15, 2005 - 16:55
Among the many distortions spread by DNC Chairman Howard Dean is the idea that President Bush is responsible for the silly Supreme Court decision in Kelo v. New London Connecticut where the Court approved the taking of private property for use by private developers. Dean recently said: "The president and his right-wing Supreme Court think it is 'okay' to have the government take your house if they feel like putting a hotel where your house is." Oh, really? Dean is apparently unaware that the President has yet to put anybody on the Supreme Court. Perhaps Dean has missed the fact that President Bush's first appointee to the Court is going through the confirmation process and has not yet had a chance to rule on ANYTHING! More importantly, the 5 justices who composed the majority in Kelo were the LEFT-WING justices (Breyer, Ginsberg, Stevens, Souter and Kennedy) while the conservative justices (Scalia, Thomas and Rhenquist) were the ones who wrote the dissent! (Justice O'Conner joined with the conservatives on this one.) Apparently, no lie is too bold for the DNC Chairman. CLICK HERE. |

LOUISIANA GOVERNOR ADMITS SHE BLEW IT.
September 15, 2005 - 16:55
Unaware that the cameras were recording her comments, Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco admitted that she "should have called in the military" to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The media has blamed Bush for the failure to dispatch the military and has claimed that he failed to respond to Blanco's request. Now it is clear that she did not make that request, and the fault was HERS not Bush's. Don't expect the mainstream media to correct the record! CLICK HERE. |

CUT THIS!
September 15, 2005 - 16:56
A man in Omaha did not like the order from city officials to mow his lawn or face a fine. So he mowed his lawn, but left grass just tall enough to spell out a message in the middle of his yard. The graphic obscenity, apparently "F* You" has neighbors upset, but city officials say they can't do anything because it is protected speech. CLICK HERE. |

THIS GUY IS MY HERO.
September 15, 2005 - 16:57
A guy with way too much time on his hands has developed the cubicle "work blind." Here's how it works: have someone take a good digital photo of you at work in your cubicle; then take it to Kinko's and get a life size blow up color photo poster of the picture; finally, place it across the entrance of your cubicle. From a distance it will appear you are hard at work, even when you are napping. Dontcha just love technology? |

STOP THE BOP!
September 15, 2005 - 16:57
Students at a Pennsylvania high school are being tortured with repeated playing of the 1996 Hanson hit "MMMBop" over the school loudspeakers. The music will continue until students donate a total of $3000 to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. If we were doing this to the detainees at Gitmo the ACLU would be pitching a hissy fit. By the way, they have raised $2300 so far, so the band plays on. CLICK HERE. |

MIKE BROWN NEED TO STOP DEFENDING HIMSELF.
September 15, 2005 - 17:10
The more this guy talks, the more clear it is that he was a political hack who was appointed to a position way above his skill level. But Louisiana voters have an obligation to put Blanco and Nagin in the unemployment line with his as soon as they can. CLICK HERE. |
