CRIMINAL LOBBYIST POINTS FINGER AT HARRY REID.
November 16, 2006 - 11:22
For months the Democrats have claimed that Republican association with corrupt lobbyist Jack Abramoff tainted the whole party. Now that same lobbyist has apparently fingered new Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as among his operatives. The tune of the media and the Democrats is interesting in the wake of this reveleation. Now they say that Abramoff will say anything to save his skin. Oh, NOW we can't believe him when he says who he was involved with, but just two weeks ago the words of Jack Abramoff were the Gospel! TED KENNEDY THINKS YOU CAN RAISE A FAMILY ON $15,000 A YEAR.
November 16, 2006 - 12:05
Ted Kennedy and the Democrats are pushing for raising the minimum wage to $7.25/hour so that Americans can earn enough to raise their families. Can you really "raise a family" on $15,000 a year. Really? Why don't they just raise it to $72.50/hour, then everybody would make at least $150,000 a year and we would all be rich, right? Why not? Plus look at all the new tax revenues the government would rake in with all those folks paying their "fair share" as rich folks. We could easily balance the budget and pay off the national debt in just a couple of years. Yep, we need to raise the minimum wage to $72.50 an hour!!! CLICK HERE. |

COHEN WILL STEP DOWN FROM STATE SENATE SEAT IN DECEMBER.
November 16, 2006 - 10:02
Congressman-elect Steve Cohen is moving on, and won't stick around in Tennessee until January to vote for John Wilder for Lt. Governor. If he resigns soon, the Shelby County Commission will appoint a temporary replacement who would vote on the leadership of the Senate. The Shelby County Commission has a 7-6 Democrat majority, so presumably the appointee would vote for Wilder. Or, maybe not. CLICK HERE. |

IF HE DOESN'T GO TO JAIL, THE PUBLICITY WILL HOPEFULLY HAMPER HIS DATING LIFE.
November 16, 2006 - 10:18
A man in Minnesota is facing criminal charges for having sex with a dead deer. His defense is that, technically, because the animal was dead he was not having sex with an animal. It was a carcass, and nothing in the law prohibits that. The charge was a misdemeanor. If he gets off, the publicity around the case may do more damage to his reputation than the punishment of a fine. CLICK HERE. |
