DICK THE TURBAN DURBIN STICKS TO HIS STUPID STATEMENT
June 16, 2005 - 10:33
Democrat Senator Dick Durbin compared U.S. treatment of terrorists detained at Gitmo to gulags, Nazi death camps and the killing fields in Cambodia. Ridiculous. But he is sticking to his statement. This man is giving aid and support to the enemies of this country. He is so consumed with political partisanship that he is more interested in seeking political advantage by disinformation and misinformtion than he is in our country winning the war on terror. He would happily see his country lose, in order for his political party to gain a few seats in the Congress. He is a dispicable example of what the Democrat Party has become, and he is not alone. Democrats who love their country and support our troops should condemn him. Their silence speaks loudly. CLICK HERE. |

A FAMILY AFFAIR?
June 16, 2005 - 10:34
Senator John Ford's sister is interested in running for the Senate seat he vacated in Memphis following his arrest on bribery charges. More good news for Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. and his U.S. Senate race? Isn't it interesting that the same folks so concerned about a "Bush dynasty" don't have a problem with the Fords or Kennedys. AMERICANS SUPPORT PATRIOT ACT.
June 16, 2005 - 16:33
Congress is woefully out of touch with mainstream America on a host of issues, from failing to deal with illegal immigration to failure to cut our taxes. Now, a new Fox News poll, reveals that they may also be out of sync when it comes to their efforts to roll back provisions of the Patriot Act. The poll also reveals that 10% of America must be absolutely delusional when it comes to the war on terror. The "mistreated" detainees at Gitmo are provided with copies of the Koran. 75% of those polled don't believe Americans would be provided copies of the Bible by Muslim captors if the roles were reversed; but 10% believe that the same folks who desecrate Bibles and prosecute (persecute is probably a better word) Christians worldwide would accord U.S. prisoners religious tolerance. Riiiight. And they don't execute prisoners either. CLICK HERE. |

TEXAS JUDGE ORDERS STATE TO RETAIN CUSTODY OF CANCER VICTIM.
June 16, 2005 - 16:34
A 13 year old Texas girl who has been taken from her parents in a dispute over whether the family should be forced to make her endure radiation therapy for her cancer will remain in state custody following a court ruling Thursday. The bottom line is who should decide about medical treatment: the state or the family? In Texas, family apparently comes behind the all powerful state. Is this what the brave defenders of the Alamo died for? CLICK HERE. |
