Former Democrat Vice Presidential nominee John Edwards is ramping up for another run for the White House. But his creation of a 527 (a legal entity that allows candidates to disguise donations and keep them secret) and acceptance of a $250,000 untraceable donation highlights the flaws in our so-called open system. VIRGINIA STUDENT NEWSPAPER APOLOGIZES FOR ANTI-CHRISTIAN CARTOONS.
September 16, 2006 - 07:57
After receiving a couple of thousand letters the Editor of the student run newspaper at the University of Virginia has apologized for a couple of cartoons that depicted Christ as being crucified on a math graph and another in which his mother Mary explained to Joseph that her STD must have been immaculately transmitted. Note that the offended Christians did not go on a murderous rampage, burn Muslim mosques, or riot in the streets. This is how civilized religions conduct themselves. CLICK HERE. |
