BUSH TRYING A MAKEOVER ON MIERS.
October 17, 2005 - 14:08
One of the main things the White House is touting about Harriet Miers is the fact she ran a large law firm in Dallas. But the law firm she ran seemed to have been consistently involved in some shady schemes to help their clients cheat investors. Is this what we are looking for in a Supreme Court Justice? CLICK HERE. |

PFLAMING OUT.
October 17, 2005 - 14:08
Even if her name had been disclosed, it would not have been a violation of the law, but that is not stopping a media frenzy about the supposed "outing" of not so secret agent Valerie Plame. Now the reporter who went to jail to keep her source secret says she does not remember who told her about Valerie Plame. How do you prosecute anybody for something that isn't a crime when the key witness can't even say they did anything wrong? CLICK HERE. |

VIRGINIA SCHOOL PULLS CHARLIE DANIELS SONG DUE TO RELIGIOUS CONCERNS.
October 17, 2005 - 14:09
A letter to the editor complaining about the Hylton High School Band, which is scheduled to perform at the Peach Bowl, playing the "Devil Went Down to Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band has led to the song being dropped from their playlist. The concern? Separation of church and state. Apparently the letter writer thought the song promoted devil worship, and the school band director pulled the song rather than stick to his guns. Pure nitwittery. CLICK HERE. |

MORE TO THE STORY.
October 17, 2005 - 14:10
Sgt. Ron Long, a Tennessean, was one of the ten soldiers who participated in a discussion with President Bush late last week on live television. The Mainstream Media has been critical of the event because they say it was \"staged.\" Sgt. Long says the media missed the real story, as usual. CLICK HERE. |

UP THE CREEK BUT WITH HER PADDLE.
October 17, 2005 - 14:11
A hot blonde reporter for NBC decides to make herself part of the story by paddling a canoe in the flood waters of New Jersey, but then a couple of guys come walking through the FOUR INCH DEEP flood water and make a mockery of her big "story." Maybe she can look for Al Capone's vault next time. CLICK HERE. |

SUCCESSFUL ELECTION MERITS PAGE 22 COVERAGE FROM WASHINGTON POST.
October 17, 2005 - 14:12
What if you held an election and the Washington Post decided it wasn't news? The Iraqis turn out in bigger numbers than U.S. voters to approve a Constitution, but this huge news story gets buried by the Mainstream Media. Is anybody surprised? CLICK HERE. |

THIS WOULD NOT BE TOLERATED IF IT WAS IN A WOMEN'S RESTROOM.
October 17, 2005 - 14:13
A swanky hotel in New Zealand has large photos of women posted over the urinals in the men's room. The photos depict women "responding" to what they see as the guys relieve themselves. Would this be funny if the photos were in the ladies' room and guys appeared to be mocking women doing their business? CLICK HERE. |

ANOTHER REASON TO OPPOSE GAY MARRIAGE.
October 17, 2005 - 14:29
With the increased acceptance of gay marriage in some corners we will continue to see increasingly complex and confusing scenarios like the one in Belgium where an ex-wife served as "best woman" while her ex-husband married her gay hairdresser. Kind of sounds like an episode from "Will & Grace." CLICK HERE. |

MEDIA HAS A ROVE OBSESSION.
October 17, 2005 - 14:37
The mainstream media clearly has a sick obsession with Karl Rove. They should seek help, immediately. The latest example of the MSM freakish focus on Rove comes in an Associated Press story on what is in his garage. I am not making this up. CLICK HERE. |
