COHEN RESIGNING FROM STATE SENATE SEAT IN DECEMBER.
November 17, 2006 - 07:30
Congressman-elect Steve Cohen is moving on, and won't stick around in Tennessee until January to vote for John Wilder for Lt. Governor. If he resigns soon, the Shelby County Commission will appoint a temporary replacement who would vote on the leadership of the Senate. The Shelby County Commission has a 7-6 Democrat majority, so presumably the appointee would vote for Wilder. Or, maybe not. CLICK HERE.

TED KENNEDY BELIEVES YOU CAN RAISE A FAMILY ON $15,000 A YEAR.
November 17, 2006 - 07:30
Ted Kennedy and the Democrats are pushing for raising the minimum wage to $7.25/hour so that Americans can earn enough to raise their families. Can you really "raise a family" on $15,000 a year. Really? Why don't they just raise it to $72.50/hour, then everybody would make at least $150,000 a year and we would all be rich, right? Why not? Plus look at all the new tax revenues the government would rake in with all those folks paying their "fair share" as rich folks. We could easily balance the budget and pay off the national debt in just a couple of years. Yep, we need to raise the minimum wage to $72.50 an hour!!! CLICK HERE.

November 17, 2006 - 07:35

A lot of people are wondering why anybody would buy the O.J. Simpson "hypothetical" confession book. A lot are also wondering why anybody would publish it. Here is the answer. CLICK HERE.

It seems that Regen considers the book a "confession" by O.J. Maybe it is just his attempt to smoke out the "real killer." CLICK HERE.

WILDER DEPENDING ON WILLIAMS.
November 17, 2006 - 15:31
In order for Lt. Governor John Wilder to remain in power for his 20th term as Lt. Governor, he has to convince RINO State Sen. Mike Williams to betray the trust of his district again. Should be a no-brainer for Wilder since nobody, absolutely nobody, expects Mike Williams to do the honest and honorable thing. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
