PRESIDENT BUSH COMING TO TENNESSEE FOR BOB CORKER.
August 17, 2006 - 08:50
While President Bush may be suffering from some low poll numbers, in Tennessee and across the nation, he will still raise a boatload of money for Bob Corker that will outweigh any negative impact of the visit. Here is my analysis for Channel 2 this morning. CLICK HERE. |

CONFERENCE OF STATE LEGISLATORS PAID FOR BY TENNESSEE TAXPAYERS.
August 17, 2006 - 08:55
Your tax dollars helped buy 5000 cowboy hats for out-of-state legislators, lobbyists, and bureaucrats. Overall, Tennessee taxpayers paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for them to party and politic on our nickel. Do you feel like you got your money's worth? CLICK HERE.
Oh, and they gave Tennessee House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh an award for excellence in legislative leadership. That's right, the guy who has made corruption and thuggery in politics the "business as usual" standard in Tennessee got an award. The guy who oversaw a legislature that became embroiled in Tennessee Waltz, where votes were traded for cash, is seen as an example of great leadership by the NCSL. The guy who regularly breaks the rules to suit his purposes is seen as an "exceptional" leader by this group. Talk about a group that has its priorities out of whack!

LOBBYISTS DENY THAT MONEY HAS MUCH IMPACT.
August 17, 2006 - 08:57
Lobbyists gathered at the National Conference of State Legislators, meeting in Nashville this week, debated the influence of the cash they dispense to legislators all over the country. Some claim that it does not have much impact. Then why do they spend so much money if it doesn't work????? CLICK HERE. |

CREEPY GUY ARRESTED IN JON BENET RAMSEY CASE.
August 17, 2006 - 09:05
An arrest has finally been made in the case of the murdered child pageant queen from Colorado. The guy is a former teacher, who has apparently told police information about the case that the general public was not privy to. DNA evidence will either prove he is the guy or prove he is a psychopath, or maybe both. CLICK HERE.
The suspect apparently claims the death of the young girl was an "accident." How do you accidentally strangle somebody with a nylon cord around their neck? CLICK HERE.
His ex-wife says she can provide an alibi for him. CLICK HERE.
