THE PLOT THICKENS AS HAYNES CONFIRMS HIS INTENTIONS TO CHALLENGE WILDER.
December 18, 2006 - 07:41
Senator Joe Haynes has now confirmed (CLICK HERE) what "informed sources" on Capitol Hill had said: that Democrats are getting a bit uneasy about the prospects of Lt. Governor Wilder holding onto power. They sense that a few Democrats might pull a "Mike Williams" and cross party lines to elect Republican Ron Ramsey rather than keep the 85 year old Wilder in position just a heartbeat from the Governor's office. The concerns about Wilder's physical and mental capabilities, combined with the lure of possible committee chairmanships that have been denied them under Wilder and his cronies, might pull one or more Democrats into doing the "right thing."
As a result, Democrats are considering putting Senator Joe Haynes up for the Lt. Governor spot instead of Wilder. Apparently, Mike Williams would still go along with the deal, and the Democrats feel more confident that they can hold onto their own with this move. But, what about WILDER? Will he make a move towards voting for Ramsey himself, or offer himself as a REPUBLICAN for Lt. Governor -- perhaps even promising to appoint ONLY Republicans to committee chairmanships in exchange for one more term as Lt. Governor? Or will he simply vote for Ramsey and then resign if the Dems stab him in the back? The Democrats pick their nominee for Lt. Governor the first week in January...this is really getting interesting!
SEN. JOE HAYNES: A WILDER ALTERNATIVE
MISS U.S.A. MAY HAVE SOME SPARE TIME SOON. HOW ABOUT HER AS OUR LT. GOVERNOR?? She looks better than either Wilder OR Ramsey in a bikini! (Admittedly, I don't actually know how either of them look in a bikini, and have no desire to find out, but I think it is a very safe assumption that Miss Conner beats them out!) CLICK HERE.

ROMNEY MAKES PASS THROUGH TENNESSEE.
December 18, 2006 - 07:32
Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney made a pass through Tennessee this weekend, meeting with big money types and political leaders on Sunday. He and Senator John McCain are the only two Republican candidates for President who have significant ground forces at work in Iowa and New Hampshire, and they are the best situated to raise the millions of dollars necessary to wage a real campaign. Look for the Republican nominee to be one of these two men. CLICK HERE.

DEMOCRAT U.S. SENATORS HUDDLE WITH TERROR LEADERS.
December 18, 2006 - 10:18
When Democrats won control of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House in November, terror groups like Hamas and Al Queda were thrilled. It is now clear that they had reason to be happy. Democrat Senators can't wait to rush to Syria to meet with terrorists and those who support them. CLICK HERE. |

OBAMA TIES TO INDICTED POLITICAL FIXER COMING TO LIGHT.
December 18, 2006 - 07:27
Like college sports programs that rise suddenly and just a little bit too fast, there is usually something a little crooked going on behind the scenes. The same appears to be true with Democrat rising star Barak Obama. CLICK HERE. |

WHAT PERIMETER SECURITY?
December 18, 2006 - 07:25
If Americans had the slightest idea how unsecure our country really is, we would be horrified, terrified and presumably outraged. Neither Republicans nor Democrats have done nearly enough to beef up our security in the five years since 9-11. We will pay a price in blood. CLICK HERE. |

NITWIT ACTIVISTS WANT TO LIMIT WOMEN TO PRACTICE WITH WOMEN.
December 18, 2006 - 17:16
Talk about p.c. nitwittery run amok! The NCAA is considering a new rule that would prohibit women's sports teams, such as basketball, from allowing the young women to practice against young men. Pat Summitt has used men players in practices for decades, so it apparently works. So the NCAA opposes it? CLICK HERE. |
