AL QUEDA LEADER WARNS MUSLIMS TO EVACUATE THE U.S.
September 18, 2006 - 12:39
Some news outlets say the new warning to Muslims in America to "get out" is a hint that a major attack targeting NY or Washington, DC may be coming soon. I would say it is more than a "hint." But the idea that the "peaceful and tolerant" followers of Allah would murder innocent civilians by the thousands with another terror attack is hard to believe, isn't it? CLICK HERE.

MUSLIMS CONTINUE TO RAMPAGE IN WAKE OF PAPAL COMMENTS.
September 18, 2006 - 13:32
Death threats, murdering nuns, firebombing Christian churches, riots and violence. All because the Pope implied that Islam may tend to foster such conduct. Aren't they proving the point? Is this the face of a civilized religion or one that fosters hate and violence in a barbaric way? Maybe they should spend more time brushing their teeth and less time protesting. CLICK HERE.

HERE IS WHAT THE POPE ACTUALLY HAD TO SAY.
September 18, 2006 - 14:49
As you read the Pope's comments, ask yourself why civilized, "peaceful and tolerant" people would engage in violent and deadly rampages upon hearing these words. CLICK HERE.

BUCHANAN CALLS FOR BUSH IMPEACHEMENT.
September 18, 2006 - 12:41
No, not because of Iraq and Weapons of Mass Destruction. No, there is not a Bill Clinton-esque intern scandal. Buchanan says Bush should go because he has failed to perform his duties to secure America's borders. He may have a point. CLICK HERE.

GLOBAL WARMING REPORT FROM SNOWBIRD, UTAH.
September 18, 2006 - 12:47
They already have six inches of snow on the ground at the Snowbird Resort near Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the Gill boys' favorite place to ski, and with the snow already piling up this could be the season to add it to your own wish list. Of course, the early snowfall is further evidence of the global warming trend. CLICK HERE.

NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUES COULD SAVE THE GOP IN NOVEMBER.
September 18, 2006 - 12:51
There is an old adage in politics: "He who frames the issues, wins." At this point it looks like the Iraq issue has been framed by the Bush Administration, and if it stays that way the Republicans will likely survive the election season with majorities in the House and Senate. CLICK HERE.

TENNESSEAN SAYS TAXPAYERS WILL ONLY FOOT PART OF BILL FOR CENTER.
September 18, 2006 - 13:17
A half billion dollar convention center for Nashville is being touted by some of the Chamber of Commerce officials and the Tennessean newspaper, but the full cost is being hidden from view. For example, another quarter billion dollars or so will be needed for a new 1000 room convention hotel, that will be subsidized by taxpayers.  The proponents admit that the Convention Center will lose about $3 million a year in operating costs, even under their rosy scenarios. They also claim that taxpayers will only have to pay 20% of the costs. Really?!?? When was the last time a public project generated the revenues projected and was built at the cost estimated on the front end?? Even if they are right about the twenty percent figure, do you think they would let me take a hammer and pound a finger on each hand? It would only be 20% of their fingers. CLICK HERE.

THEY HAVE COWBOYS IN GERMANY?
September 18, 2006 - 13:35
Well, at least one. And he is currently in jail for riding a horse under the influence. CLICK HERE.

MAYBE COMPULSIVE AND ADDICTIVE PERSONALITIES SEEK BOTOX.
September 18, 2006 - 14:07
A new report indicates that those who have had botox treatments may find an almost addictive need to seek further treatments. Maybe botox itself is not addictive; maybe those who use it had addictive personalities to begin with. CLICK HERE.

SOMETHING THAT MOST OF US DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT.
September 18, 2006 - 14:33
A teenage laborer in Britain has been fired for being too good looking. That's right, too good looking. I thought you could never be TOO smart, TOO rich, or TOO good looking. Sorry ladies, no picture available. CLICK HERE.

WILLIE GETS WHACKO.
September 18, 2006 - 14:53
Willie Nelson is on the road again, or will be after he gets out of jail in Louisiana. He and his crew were charged by police after they found one and a half pounds of pot and two tenths of a pound of mushrooms in his bus. I guess they got tired of whiskey for his men and beer for the horses. CLICK HERE.

MADONNA TO BE "CRUCIFIED" IN NBC SWEEPS RATINGS GRAB.
September 18, 2006 - 18:50
NBC would not consider disrespecting Islam in the way they intend to slam Christianity with a Madonna concert during November sweeps. But sacrilege for ratings is apparently the NBC way. CLICK HERE.

GASOLINE PRICES DROP ANOTHER 12 CENTS PER GALLON.
September 18, 2006 - 18:52
Gasoline prices have continued to plummet and now average about $2.50/gallon. Look for SUV sales to rebound as the prices dip into the low $2.30 range. Why aren't we hearing more about this story? CLICK HERE.

NJ POLICITICAN PAID TO LOBBY HIMSELF.
September 18, 2006 - 20:40
A powerful State Senator in New Jersey had a pretty easy job. He was paid $35,000 a year by a state university to lobby himself. The interesting thing about this particular news report is the fact that they don't reveal until the 4th paragraph that he was a Democrat. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
