WHY MCCAIN WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT.
October 19, 2005 - 10:56
Defending the flood of illegals into this country is not the way to win the hearts and minds of the American people. An American Senator who does not understand the basic concept of "illegal" has no business being a Senator, much less a President. CLICK HERE. |

RUMORS FLY IN DC ABOUT CHENEY STEPPING DOWN.
October 19, 2005 - 10:57
As the investigations into the Plame leak scandal head to conclusion there are increasing fears at the White House that indictments could come for one or more of Vice President Dick Cheney's close associates. But the prime rumor of the day is that VP Cheney, who has suffered recurring health problems, may step aside to put the scandal to rest...and open the door for Secretary of State Condi Rice to move into the Vice President's office. WOW!! Talk about changing the political dynamic! At this point the scenario is highly unlikely, but the DC echo chamber is rattling with the rumor. CLICK HERE. |

SLIMEBALL ASSAULT ON BENNETT WAS ORCHESTRATED BY THE LEFT.
October 19, 2005 - 11:11
The ridiculous assault on Bill Bennett for comments taken wholly out of context was no accident. It is part of a new strategy by the Left, which their mainstream media lackeys are all to happy to assist in amplifying. The really disgusting thing about the whole sordid episode was the failure of the Bush White House to back up Bennett. And they wonder why conservatives don't trust them. CLICK HERE. |

BUSH APPROVAL PLUMMETS IN TENNESSEE.
October 19, 2005 - 11:26
In the past month, the Approve/Disapprove numbers for President Bush have dropped dramatically, from a 5 point negative view to a 17 point negative view (57% disapproval, 40% approval). The biggest White House announcement of the past month was the selection of Harriet Miers for the Supreme Court. Most polls show that 75% disapprove of continued flood of illegal aliens into the U.S., so the White House announcement this week about their plan to keep the flood coming is unlikely to help his sagging poll numbers. He doesn't have to face the voters again, but he does still have three years to try to govern. That job gets harder when you have bad numbers, particularly when you seem to be doing everything you can to drive away your conservative base on basic issues. Runaway government spending, failing to address the issue of illegal aliens, a growing series of ethical scandals involving the Administration (Plame-gate) and its allies (Tom Delay), selecting a lightweight for the Supreme Court, etc., are not the ways to firm up the base.
