LIB LA TIMES CAUTIONS AGAINST BLAIMING VICTIMS FOR COMMITTING FRAUD.
June 19, 2006 - 07:02
Victims of Hurricane Katrina were given debit cards to help them with emergency food, housing and clothing needs. It was YOUR money, dispensed by FEMA to those "in need". $1.4 BILLION of that emergency aid was used to vacation in the Dominican Republic, purchase lap dances from strippers, buy a sex change operation, and to acquire sex toys and alcohol. But those who committed fraud and spent taxpayer money on such frivolous items should not be blamed, according to the liberal LA Times. After all, they are the "victims" so it is not their fault. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
