Vandals (likely of the teenage variety rather than the Germanic Hun variety) painted a statue of Andy Griffith in Mt. Airy, North Carolina with hair green and put red paint on his mouth and badge. No damage was done to the statue of Opie by his side.

My guess is that Perry wins on Tuesday with just over 50%...thereby avoiding a runoff.
