EVANS' HUSBAND RESPONDS TO DIVORCE COMPLAINT.
October 20, 2006 - 15:42

Craig Schelske filed a legal response to the Complaint for Divorce filed against him by country music star Sara Evans last week. He claims that Evans had an "intimate relationship" with another man and that the contentions in her Complaint are untrue. In fact, one of the most amazing things about the original Complaint was the attachment of exhibits, which now appear to have been bogus. The other side of the story, seems to have pretty dramatically CHANGED the story that Sara Evans put out there last week.  Will the media give the "rest of the story" the same play it gave to the sensationalized version?

In the response, no names named. Some will say this response is "booorrrrinnnng," particularly compared to the version filed by Evans. Actually, this is the more typical divorce pleading. CLICK HERE.

Here is the actual pleading filed by Schelske. CLICK HERE.

ROCHELLE EVENT MAY COST FORD A SENATE SEAT.
October 20, 2006 - 07:35

In a tight political race the key to success is letting the other guy make the fatal mistake. Harold Ford, Jr. may just have made his. The Bob "Mr. Tennessee Income Tax" Rochelle campaign hosted a fundraising event Thursday night that was attended by Harold Ford, Jr.

How can Ford claim to be a "new Democrat" and an "independent" voice when he alligns himself with the slimey proponent-in-chief of a Tennessee income tax? If he can't keep himself from backing Rochelle, how will he stay away from Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Chuck Schumer, and the moveon.org crowd in Washington???? Congratulations SENATOR Bob Corker. CLICK HERE.

Ford called in this morning to talk about his endorsement of Bob Rochelle. You can hear the audio HERE.

FORD FAMILY BALLOT PROVES CORKER POINT ON "FORD POLITICAL MACHINE."
October 20, 2006 - 11:56
Bob Corker has been warning voters about the implications of the Ford Political Machine gaining traction STATEWIDE instead of just in Memphis. The Ford Family Ballot is Exhibit A in proving the point. CLICK HERE.

AND THE STRAW POLL SAYS...
October 20, 2006 - 07:35

The City Cafe, in downtown Murfreesboro, traditionally takes a straw poll of diners on the first day of early voting in each election. It has consistently been a pretty good indicator of results in Rutherford County over the years, so it is instructive to take a glance at the results from this year's straw poll in this important swing county.

LIEBERMAN PULLS TO 17 POINT LEAD OVER DEMOCRAT LAMONT.
October 20, 2006 - 08:32
Apparently, the endorsement of Joe Lieberman by Harold Ford, Jr. (made earlier this week on the Steve Gill Show) is bearing fruit for the Connecticut U.S. Senator who is now running as an independent after being defeated in the Democrat primary. CLICK HERE.

ARE TENNESSEANS GETTING SMARTER?

NOW WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH "BODY MODIFICATION ACTIVISTS."
October 20, 2006 - 07:49
Everybody has their little activist group these days. There are gay rights activists. Abortion rights activists. Animal rights activists. Anti-war activists. And now there are "body modification activists" who are seeking laws to prevent discrimination of those who choose to pierce and tatoo their bodies. Just because you have the right to do it, doesn't make it right to do it. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
