JUDGE IN FORD CASE WAS APPOINTED THANKS TO FORD FAMILY.
January 20, 2006 - 10:01
The federal judge who will decide whether or not the State Senate can void the election of Ophelia Ford was handpicked for the judgeship by Ford's brother, Congressman Harold Ford, Sr. The Judge was also a close enough family friend that she was the one who swore in Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. when he followed his father into the family business. Judges have an ethical obligation to avoid the "appearance of impropriety." A judge with a shred of decency, integrity and ethics would recuse herself from hearing this case. CLICK HERE.

ANOTHER JUDICIAL OUTRAGE! ANOTHER JUDICIAL OUTRAGE!
January 20, 2006 - 10:02
First, a judge in Vermont allowed a rapist to get off with a slap on the wrist in a case involving a man who had repeatedly raped a 7 year old girl  over a 4 year period. The rapist was given just 60 days in jail by the judge who said he no longer believed "punishment" works. Then, a judge in Massachusetts gave probation, and NO JAIL TIME, to a gay choir director who admitted to raping a 16 year old boy. The judge was recently honored by the Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Bar Association, so her acceptance of violent gay sexual activity should apparently come as no surprise. Now a lesbian softball coach who raped a 15 year old girl gets off with no jail time either. Perhaps we should start including judge's photos in the  registry of sexual predators. CLICK HERE.

A cheerleader for USC apparently forgot which team she was cheering for during the recent national championship game with Texas. The photo is great, but the photoshop parodies are even funnier. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
