SHREDESEN ANNOUNCES ANOTHER ROUND OF CHANGES IN POLICY
July 20, 2005 - 08:05
Another day, another announcement. This time the Governor has decided that having different approaches to sexual harassment cases involving his cronies and senior officials and those involving lower level bureaucrats is no longer a good idea. The fact that the public found out about it, like the discovery of the shredders at work, is what led to the new decision. Amazing what the bright light of scrutiny can accomplish, isn't it? Wonder what else the Shredesen Administration is hiding that deserves more scrutiny...and might lead to policy changes? CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
