Blogger John Harvey has uncovered over 7,000 DEAD PEOPLE still on the voter rolls. He has also found 5,600 people who are apparently registered twice. The real question is how many, if any, of these people voted and/or voted twice. And this is just from Shelby County. Imagine what the numbers look like statewide. Looks like the book detailing O.J. Simpson's "hypothetical" murder confession, and the television special hyping the book, will both be cancelled! If the book was supposed to go on sale November 30, don't you think they already have them printed? What happens to all those books? Will they become collectors items hawked on e-bay? The Nashville Chamber of Commerce's Executive Committee has unanimously voted to oppose new Metro ordinances that would tighten up on enforcement of laws against illegal immigrants. Strange, they never speak out when their fellow Muslims kill innocent men, women and children around the world. It looks like the Republican majority in Congress will leave Washington in December without passing spending bills that are loaded with pork. Instead, they will leave that business for the new Democrat majority in January. Strategically, there may be some merit to this decision. It takes the Dems off message, makes them deal with some tough and divisive issues right out of the blocks, and will likely fracture their coalition somewhat.
