WHAT A BUNCH OF DIPS.
November 22, 2006 - 07:19
Boy, that special session on ethics last year sure accomplished a lot didn't it? Legislators continue to scoff at the law and rip off taxpayers. By the way, Representatives Jones, Townes, and Rinks are all DEMOCRATS. Do you think this is the "business as usual" that Rep. Chris Newton was referring to as he headed off to jail for accepting bribes on Capitol Hill? CLICK HERE.

AND SPEAKING OF DOUBLE DIPPERS.
November 22, 2006 - 07:20

Blogger John Harvey has uncovered over 7,000 DEAD PEOPLE still on the voter rolls. He has also found 5,600 people who are apparently registered twice. The real question is how many, if any, of these people voted and/or voted twice. And this is just from Shelby County. Imagine what the numbers look like statewide. Shouldn't the legislature and the election commission be investigating this? CLICK HERE.

BUSH DAUGHTER ROBBED IN ARGENTINA.
November 22, 2006 - 07:22
While her crack Secret Service detail stood there, Barbara Bush had her purse stolen at a restaurant in Argentina. I hope the guys guarding the President himself are a little more on top of things. CLICK HERE.

I HOPE HE GOT AN A ON HIS SCIENCE PROJECT.
November 22, 2006 - 07:26

A Detroit-area teenager has created nuclear fusion in his basement. It was for a school science project. Would he get extra credit if he actually nukes Detroit? Why is it so hard for folks like Iran to accomplish this when we have teenagers doing it in their basement labs? More importantly, are teenage girls hot for this sort of thing; 'cause you know that is his real motivation? CLICK HERE.

U.S. WILL REQUIRE PASSPORTS FOR NEARLY ALL INTERNATIONAL AIR TRAVELERS.
November 22, 2006 - 07:28
It is about time. Beginning in January, almost all air passengers entering the U.S. will have to show a valid passport to gain entry to our country. Why aren't we already doing this? CLICK HERE.

MUSLIM CLERICS FROWN ON USING "PRAYER CALLS" AS RINGTONES.
November 22, 2006 - 07:36
Isn't it interesting that Muslim clerics are calling on the faithful to stop using Islamic calls to prayer as ringtones on their cell phones but have not demanded that Muslims stop using cell phones to trigger terror bombs that kill innocent men, women and children? Talk about a religion with strange priorities. CLICK HERE.

THOSE "INNOCENT" FLYING IMAMS...
November 22, 2006 - 07:40

...may not all be so innocent. 6 Muslim clerics were detained and questioned while trying to board a flight in Minnesota earlier this week. Islamic activists have been "outraged." But at least one of the 6 has ties to terrorists groups and has acknowledged links to Osama Bin Laden. Will this story get as much play as the CAIR press conference? CLICK HERE.

Here are more details. CLICK HERE.

WALMART BACKS OFF OF GAY SUPPORT.
November 22, 2006 - 07:33
Walmart has decided that its plans to financially support Gay and Lesbian causes is too "controversial" so they will no longer do so. The tipping point for Walmart was a planned boycott for this Friday. Money talks, or at least the prospect of LOOSING money talked loudly to Walmart. Shop away!!! CLICK HERE.

GLOBAL WARMING HITS FLORIDA.
November 22, 2006 - 07:42
Snow flurries in Orlando?!?! Ok, this proves that Algore was right about that global warming thing!! Expect him to hold a press conference today to say "I told you so." CLICK HERE.

Retailers will be hoping that Zogby is wrong on this one. CLICK HERE.

IS RUDY TOO LIBERAL TO GET THE GOP NOMINATION?
November 22, 2006 - 07:49

Some of Rudy Guiliani's supporters say that once America really gets to know the former Mayor of New York he will be unstoppable. We'll see. I really like him; I would love to see Rudy as Governor of New York. But President of the U.S.? I am not convinced at this point; right now, put me in the "skeptical about his chances" column. CLICK HERE.

RUBBER BAND MAN.
November 22, 2006 - 08:45
A Chicago man just set a new record for collecting rubber bands with a 19 foot, 4,300 pound rubber band "ball." I am sure his entire family is soooo proud. CLICK HERE.
A rubber band ball, created using more than 175,000 rubber bands, is pushed to a scale for a weigh-in in Chicago before its certification by Guinness as the world's largest /Empics

LOOKING A GIFT HOUSE IN THE MOUTH.
November 22, 2006 - 09:19
A church that gave away a house to a "homeless family" may have been deceived. There is a special place in hell for those who steal from churches. CLICK HERE.

IS THERE A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO NOT BE OFFENDED?
November 22, 2006 - 11:11
If so, can this be a two way street? Colleges and universities seem the be the epicenter of the selective enforcement of the right to not be offended. Only certain groups are afforded the right; others get to be targeted with impunity. You know who they are.  CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
