The media had a field day with rumors about Newt Gingrich. Will they apply their same coverage to John Edwards when the Enquirer catches him with his pants down while his wife is dying of cancer?!?!?! It takes him that long to comb his hair.

The Enquirer initially reported about Edwards and Rielle back in 2007 when she was pregnant. He has never talked about his relationship with the woman, and despite his sue everybody for everything background NEVER SUED THE ENQUIRER. Does that mean the story is true? No, but not suing the Enquirer for slander is certainly interesting...except that truth is an absolute defense to any slader or libel claim. CLICK HERE.

"The objective of this trip was to have substantive discussions with people like President Karzai or Prime Minister Maliki...or others who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to ten years."
