February 23, 2006 - 16:15 The North Dakota National Guard is trying to promote their state by offering 10 kids (high school seniors and juniors) from each state the chance to have an all-expense trip to learn more about the 200th anniversary of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Winning essays will determine the winners, and February 28th is the deadline. So far only 30 students nationwide have entered. No word on how many are from Tennessee, but I suspect that a little time on the computer could get you a trip to ND in August. There is no excuse for Tennessee not filling all ten of our slots!
