MAYOR PURCELL WILL NOT SEEK THIRD TERM.
October 24, 2005 - 16:58
Saying he can get the job that he promised done in two terms, Mayor Bill Purcell surprised a lot of political pundits by announcing his decision not to seek a third term. The announcement comes with two years remaining in the Mayor's current
term.

LOBBYISTS REIGN ON CAPITOL HILL.
October 24, 2005 - 16:59
A Tennessean report makes it clear why ethics reform has such a tough time getting support on Capitol Hill. The lobbyists like things the way they are, you know, where THEY have the dollars to pay politicians to do what they want them to do. Works out great for the lobbyists, not so great for the taxpayers. If the legislators won't flush the lobbyists, it is time for the voters to flush the legislators and get a bunch who will do the job. CLICK HERE.

CONDI FLIPS OUT. CONDI FLIPS OUT.
October 24, 2005 - 17:00
Here unbridled enthusiasm for the Crimson Tide this weekend was very disturbing...at first. Then I realized that we finally have a high level public official who is not afraid to take sides, and be vocal in supporting her team even when politically correct advisors might suggest she tone it down, maybe even show some level of support for BOTH teams. Condi showed the type of strength of character that is so often missing in politicians of all stripes. It is what we desperately need from more of our Senators and even our President -- unabashed loyalty to and support for OUR team...the U.S.A. CONDI FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

PIGLET FIGHTS BACK. PIGLET FIGHTS BACK.
October 24, 2005 - 17:01
Although a British office has banned pig symbols in order to avoid offending Muslims, fans of Whinnie the Pooh's pal Piglet are fighting back. Find out how you can become involved in the Free Piglet campaign. CLICK HERE.

BUSH TEAM SEEMS INTENT ON MAKING EVERYBODY MAD ABOUT IMMIGRATION.
October 24, 2005 - 17:03
The pro-illegal crowd is not happy with the announcement by the Bush Administration that illegals will be sent home. Americans who support enforcement of our laws and protection of our borders are not happy with the announcement because they know the Bush Administration does not mean it. Success in politics generally means keeping at least 51% of the people on your side. The Bush team seems determined to make sure NOBODY is on their side. CLICK HERE.

IS WALGREENS FUNDING A GAY ORGY? IS WALGREENS FUNDING A GAY ORGY?
October 24, 2005 - 17:04
The Gay Games look more like fun and games rather than a serious effort to address the scourge of AIDS. Walgreens is a primary sponsor, having contributed $100,000 to the cause. Something to think about the next time you are choosing where to get your own prescriptions filled. CLICK HERE.

YOUNG WHITE RACISTS GLORIFY NAZIS. YOUNG WHITE RACISTS GLORIFY NAZIS.
October 24, 2005 - 17:05
They may look like the Olsen twins, but they have been singing of the glories of white supremacy since they were nine. But are they really any different from the Louis Farrakhan crowd...except for the fact that the mainstream media is disturbed by their message of racial separatism and condemns it, while they glorify the same message voiced by black racists. CLICK HERE.

DOUBLE STANDARD? DOUBLE STANDARD?
October 24, 2005 - 17:05
Bill Bennett does NOT advocate the killing of black babies, but the distortion of his comments becomes a media frenzy. A black professor at Howard University DOES promote killing white people, and nobody notices. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
