WHY ARE SO MANY KNOXVILLE BIGWIGS BACKING A CONFESSED DRUG KINGPIN?
November 24, 2006 - 07:12
A major drug dealer in Knoxville has confessed to his crimes. Yet many of the supposedly "leading citizens" in Knoxville are pleading for mercy on behalf of this scum. Why do the Knoxville elites like drug dealers so much? CLICK HERE.
Knoxville area blogger Terry Frank has more on this bizarre turn of events. She will also join us today to talk about this. CLICK HERE. |

HEELS AND VOLS FACE OFF IN NIT...CONSOLATION GAME.
November 24, 2006 - 07:17
It sounds more like the main event, but the Tennessee Vols and the storied North Carolina Tar Heels will face off this afternoon in the CONSOLATION game of the pre-season NIT. The finals will pit Butler versus Gonzaga. Yep, that will turn out a crown in NYC. The Vols got into the consolation game by shooting a miserable 10% in the second half against Butler. 10%. The Tar Heels are ranked #2 in the country, so look for them to rebound from their upset loss to Gonzaga in a big way. CLICK HERE. |

WHITES ONLY SCHOLARSHIP AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY.
November 24, 2006 - 07:20
A scholarship limited to White people at Boston University has evoked outrage among some. But Black only scholarships don't raise a ripple. Nor do scholarships limited to Hispanics or Latinos. Isn't it amazing how some people are selectively outraged by racial discrimination. It isn't a problem...as long as they BENEFIT from the discrimination. CLICK HERE. |

REPUBLICAN SENATE LEAVES JUDGES UNCONFIRMED.
November 24, 2006 - 07:29
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has talked a lot in the past several years about confirming conservative judges. In fact, a lot of the talk during the 2006 election season centered on the need to retain Republican control of the U.S. Senate so that "conservative judges appointed by President Bush can get confirmed." Oh really??? There are at least 16 judicial vacancies that the Republican Senate is leaving unfilled because they did not vote on comfirmation of President Bush's appointees. They only confirmed 15 of President Bush's Circuit Judge nominees in the past two years; when the Democrats controlled the Senate in 2001-2002 they confirmed 17. Maybe things will improve for Conservatives now the Majority Leader Bill Frist is moving on. CLICK HERE. |

INTERVIEW WITH A SUICIDE BOMBER.
November 24, 2006 - 07:42
The Islamic faithful who commit to blow themselves up to kill innocent people are not irrational. They are not crazy. They are following what they believe to be the instructions of God. Why do they believe that God wants them to murder innocent men, women and children? Because that is what their religious leaders and families tell them from the time they are young children. It is a cultivated mindset. Cultivated by Islam. Not just radical Islam, but the Koran itself. The more you know about this religion of "peace and tolerance" the easier it is to understand that this war will not be won easily or quickly. Nor without a LOT of bloodshed. Unless, or until, Islam rejects murder in absolute terms, in all cases, and with one voice, there is no basis to separate "moderate" Muslims from "radical" Muslims. Those who pretend to be "moderate" while remaining silent and inactive in preventing the horror that their faith has become are just as responsible as those who commit vile acts in the name of Allah. TALK ABOUT A TOUGH OLD BIRD!
November 24, 2006 - 07:50
One of the few (25) remaining veterans of World War I passed away this week in Florida at age 111. Ernest Charles Pusey had joined the Navy in 1917 and spend his time patrolling the British Isles. Frankly, I was surprised that there were ANY WWI vets still around. Over 5 million Americans served during the First World War. CLICK HERE. |

BABY'S FIRST STEPS WILL DEFINITELY BE MEMORABLE.
November 24, 2006 - 08:06
A young mother who had stepped just outside her apartment for a quick smoke was so proud to see her baby take his first steps that she didn't realize he was walking towards the door. Until he shut the door, and stranded her outside without her keys. CLICK HERE. |
