CANADA MOVES RIGHT.
January 24, 2006 - 08:34
Relax, it is still directly north of us, but POLITICALLY the country has become more conservative, as evidenced by the apparent victory of the Conservative Party in Canadian elections yesterday. CLICK HERE. |

ROMNEY CONFRONTS THE MORMON ISSUE.
January 24, 2006 - 08:35
Governor Mitt Romney will be a strong candidate for President in 2008, in part because he is one of the few Governors who is seriously considering running. Keep in mind that Governors tend to do pretty well in Presidential races...Governor Ronald Reagan, Governor Jimmy Carter, Governor Bill Clinton, Governor George W. Bush...while Senators do not. But Romney's religious faith has become an issue. He is addressing it head on. CLICK HERE. |

January 24, 2006 - 08:37
Looking for a little more spice in your reality television? The Butafuoccos are getting together with the Long Island Lolita Amy Fisher for a reunion. You may recall that more than a decade ago the then 16 year old Fisher shot her boyfriend's wife in the face. Now the three of them will get together and "chat" on television. Isn't this just so special. Some people really will do ANYTHING for money. CLICK HERE. |

MUG SHOT TIPS FOR LEGISLATORS.
January 24, 2006 - 08:37
The likelihood that more Tennessee legislators will end up in handcuffs (from the standpoint of being arrested, not personal preference) is pretty high. So it is important for them to consider how to approach their mug shot. Do you smile like Tom Delay? Do you look totally frazzled and lost like Nick Nolte and other celebrities? Or do you take the tack of two Floridians recently arrested who went for (a) the Stan Laurel look and (b) the wide-eyed smile. CLICK HERE. |

SEARED INTO YOUR MEMORY AND YOUR PLASMA SCREEN.
January 24, 2006 - 08:37
One of the problems with the new plasma-screen televisions is the fact that broadcast images can "burn" into the television screen. So if you watch the same station a lot the logo of that station may "burn" onto your screen. No problem for me, when I have control of the remote I don't watch anything longer than about a minute and a half. CLICK HERE. |
