SENATE STRIKES DEAL TO PRESERVE FILIBUSTER SENATE STRIKES DEAL TO PRESERVE FILIBUSTER
May 24, 2005 - 05:30
Dems reached an agreement with 7 Republican Senators to permit a vote on some of President Bush's judicial nominees, pledging to only filibuster in "extraordinary circumstances." Of course, that means anytime the Dems don't like the President's nominee. Democrat leader Harry Reid declares victory. It underlines, again, the danger of sending weak-kneed Republicans to the Senate. Something to think about as Tennessee Republicans pick a nominee for the Senate to fill Senator Bill Frist's seat. CLICK HERE.

YOUR TAX DOLLARS FUND VIAGRA FOR PERVERTS.
May 24, 2005 - 05:32
An audit in New York has revealed that taxpayers have paid for sex offenders' Viagra medication over the past 5 years. The same rules that permit the poor, uninsured (including rapists and child molesters) to get sexual assistance drugs also apply here in Tennessee. CLICK HERE.

MEDIA WANTS MORE PICTURES OF DEAD AMERICAN SOLDIERS.
May 24, 2005 - 05:32
Some in the mainstream media are complaining that they are not getting enough photos of dead American soldiers to show to the American public. They say they want us to get a better understanding of the cost of the war in Iraq. Hmmm, these are the same people who won't show the videos of innocent American civilians having their heads sawed off by the "peaceful and tolerant" Muslims. If they want us to see photos of dead bodies, how about some photos of innocent Iraqis killed by the so-called "insurgents?" Or some photos of dead Israeli children killed by Palestinian "freedom fighters?" Or maybe some of the photos of dead bodies lying on the pavement outside the Twin Towers as people who leaped to their deaths to escape the flames on 9-11 splatted on the concrete below? There are plenty of pictures they can show us before they denigrate the service of brave men and women who give their lives for their country. CLICK HERE.

PREACHING POLITICS FROM THE PULPIT.
May 24, 2005 - 05:32
Opponents to President Bush's social security reforms are taking to the pulpits of black churches to denounce the plan. Where is the IRS? Where is the ACLU? If white conservative preachers were PROMOTING the plan from their pulpits you can bet the left would be screaming about separation of church and state! CLICK HERE.

SAUDIS DESECRATE BIBLE ON REGULAR BASIS.
May 24, 2005 - 05:33
Some Muslims are complaining that reports of desecration and shredding of the Bible as a regular routine by Saudi Arabian custom officials is merely based on what someone "said" happened. Yet these same people take as gospel what terrorists confined in U.S. custody SAY happened to a copy of the Koran. These are the same people who claim that those who murder, rape and terrorize in the name of Islam are "peaceful and tolerant." CLICK HERE.

INFANTICIDE IS LAUGHING MATTER TO THE LEFT.
May 24, 2005 - 05:33
A leftist talk host engaged in a laugh-athon over the rampant murder of unborn children. Promoting murder passes as humor to the left, although they claim to want fewer abortions, just like the right, if you listen to Howard Dean. CLICK HERE.

DARTH VADER ROBS THEATER.
May 24, 2005 - 05:38
It should be easy to find him. How many 8 foot guys are running around out there in black capes and a helmet? CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
