BOND BREAKING WORLDWIDE RECORDS.
November 26, 2006 - 16:57
The new Bond film, "Casino Royale", is number 1 at the box office all over the world. Well, except in the U.S. where it is number 2 -- behind dancing penguins. Does this say more about us or the rest of the world? I have to admit that I was skeptical about this film, but it is the best Bond movie since Sean Connery was Bond. CLICK HERE.

DENVER TO GET 2008 DEMOCRAT CONVENTION?
November 26, 2006 - 17:02

Colorado political activists say that Denver will likely be the choice for the Democrats' 2008 Presidential convention. New York City is the other contender. If Hillary is going to be the nominee, will she push NY behind the scenes? Particularly if she suspects that Rudy might be the GOP choice? If the Dems pick Denver, does it make it more likely that the Republicans pick New York City? CLICK HERE.

ARE CRIMINALS GOING TO SCHOOL ON CRIME DRAMAS?
November 26, 2006 - 17:09
Some experts are saying that rapists are learning better ways to cover up their crimes by watching crime shows like "CSI". Interestingly, the crime figures don't show this phenomenon outside of Pittsburgh. Maybe rapists in that area tend to watch a lot more television than in other parts of the country. CLICK HERE.

WE ARE TRULY A NATION OF FATTIES.
November 26, 2006 - 17:11
Although about 60% of Americans are "overweight", only about 30% of us are trying to do anything about it. Apparently, the "war on fat" is going about as well as the "war on poverty" and the "war on drugs." CLICK HERE.

DOUBLE STANDARD IN AIRPORT SECURITY REFLECTS AMERICAN WEAKNESS.
November 26, 2006 - 17:17
The next time you are going through airport security checkpoints, taking off your shoes, belt, etc.; removing your jacket or sweater; being wanded because you have a pack of chewing gum in your pocket; as you go through the "process" be sure to note that burqua-clad women pass right through the process without anybody even slowing them down. Yet CAIR says Muslims receive unfair treatment. Yes they do. Nobody really checks them out, because they might be accused of "profiling" Muslims. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
