PHELPS FINALLY GETTING ATTENTION FROM THE MAINSTREAM TENNESSEE MEDIA.
August 26, 2005 - 10:27
Fred Phelps, a so-called Baptist preacher, is coming to Tennessee. He and his cult will be holding protests on August 27 at funerals of two soldiers killed in Iraq. He is dispicable, and deserves condemnation from anyone and everyone who comes within earshot of him and his lunatic hatemongers. He has also held protests at funerals of gays and lesbians as part of his www.godhatesfags.com "ministry." We talked with his daughter Shirley (who is headed to the Smyrna protest this weekend) Thursday morning. The interview can be found in the Archives Section of Steve Gill Mornings. Today, the Tennessean finally picked up on this story. CLICK HERE. |

The prospective jurors had been asked by prosecutors if they listen to the Steve Gill Show. Apparently they do, and the First Amendment got a victory in Pulaski! |

CHICKEN HAWK!
August 26, 2005 - 10:31
Some people from the Left, usually those who never served in the military themselves, are quick to criticize those who support the use of military might to protect U.S. interests who did not serve in uniform. It is a stupid argument, and Rich Lowry says so. CLICK HERE. |
