SIGN OF THE CROSS TOO OFFENSIVE IN SOCCER LEAGUE.
August 26, 2006 - 07:23
A soccer player who made the sign of the cross as a self blessing before the second half of a soccer match has been reprimanded and continues to be the focus of an "investigation." CLICK HERE.

MOBILE FRAUD HELPS ILLEGALS GET CARDS.
August 26, 2006 - 07:25
The Mexican government brought a mobile matricular consular card distribution system to Illinois recently, and hundreds lined up to get the identification cards that allow illegals to more easily blend into American society. Why do we tolerate foreign governments operating on our turf to undercut our laws? CLICK HERE.

BILL COSBY UNDER ATTACK BY THE LEFT...AGAIN.
August 26, 2006 - 07:28
Comedian Bill Cosby doesn't think it is funny that so many black men refuse to provide for and care for their children. So he spoke up about the issue. Now HE is the one being criticized by those who apparently see nothing wrong with the 75% illegitimacy rate among the black community and the damage that several generations of absentee fathers has had on that community. CLICK HERE.

NOW THIS IS AN INTERESTING FUNDRAISING IDEA.
August 26, 2006 - 07:32
A group wanting to show support for the troops has developed a night of strip tease dubbed "G-strings For GIs". The VFW post in Illinois also did a "Men Of the USA" beefcakes night for the ladies. The events are expected to net about $4000 to purchase support items for the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. CLICK HERE.

DEMS ATTACK CORKER FOR ACCEPTING MONEY FROM OIL INDUSTRY.
August 26, 2006 - 07:33
The Democrat Senatorial Committee is buying television time in Tennessee to attack Republican Senate nominee Bob Corker for raising about $30,000 from those involved in the oil and gas industries. Turns out that Harold Ford, Jr. has some of the same type of money in his campaign coffers. Don't expect the Dems to attack him, though. CLICK HERE.

SECRET HOLDS IN SENATE BLOCK LEGISLATION.
August 26, 2006 - 07:53
The U.S. Senate has a lot of strange rules that help them maintain a "gentlemanly" approach to legislation. Most people are completely unaware of these rules, which is how the Senator's like it. The worst rule they have is the one that allows a Senator to put a "secret hold" on legislation. That's right, just one Senator can block legislation, even if the other 99 Senators support it. If the Senate wants to allow one vote to trump the rest of the Senate that is one thing, but to allow it to be done secretly is outrageous. CLICK HERE.

CHINA BANS STRIPTEASE AT FUNERALS.
August 26, 2006 - 08:04
I know, your first thought is "how big of a problem could this be?" Apparently, it happens a lot, at least in one province. The desire to draw big crowds to funerals, based on a belief that bigger the crowd the more honor the deceased receives, has led some to hire strippers to perform at funerals. Now the Chinese government is saying that is a no-no. They have even set up a "hot line" for people to report funeral misdeeds. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
