POLL SHOWS MANY AMERICANS BELIEVE BUSH IN MANIPULATING GAS PRICES.
September 26, 2006 - 10:11
Are 42% of us really as stupid as this Gallup poll indicates? Do people honestly believe that President Bush controls gasoline prices at the pump and that prices are dipping right now as a political ploy? These are the same people who believe that Bush is also manipulating the weather this fall to prevent major hurricanes from doing damage to the Gulf Coast and reminding us of the Hurricane Katrina debacle. If Bush is really this all powerful, why is he bothering with being merely President of the U.S. Any guy who can single-handedly control the weather and gas/oil prices doesn't need to stoop to such bothersome duties like photo ops and meeting with foreign dignataries, does he? And aren't the same ones who believe that Bush is this all powerful the same ones who constantly berate him for being a bumbling fool??? CLICK HERE.

DON'T LET THEM DRIVE THROUGH MUSIC ROW!!
September 26, 2006 - 10:17
An award winning elementary art school teacher in Frisco, Texas lost her job because a student saw a nude statue during a school visit to the Dallas Museum of Art. The School Board says there are other issues behind the dismissal of the teacher. Imagine how upset the parents would be if they say Musica on Music Row in downtown Nashville. CLICK HERE.

(YES, THEY ARE NAKED.)

SELECTIVE LEAKS THREATEN NATIONAL SECURITY.
September 26, 2006 - 10:54
There is a growing trend among the Bush-haters in the State Department and Intelligence community to release selective pieces of top secret information. This is among the worst types of treason. They know that they can pick out pieces of this stuff to release, or even make things up, secure in the knowledge that the complete report or more detailed information that might correct the bogus story they put out will not be released because of legitimate security concerns that made the report "secret" in the first place. The latest example of this is the release of SOME information from the National Intelligence Estimate. The White House says that the leaked information does NOT reflect the actual assesment of the intelligence community as contained in the full report. Will the Bushies release the whole thing to prove it? CLICK HERE.

UPDATE: Bush says that the White House will release significant portions of the NIE to clarify what the report ACTUALLY says rather than allowing the leakers to misrepresent the report. CLICK HERE.

CONDI SAYS CLINTON IS WRONG!
September 26, 2006 - 10:56

Who should we believe, Clinton or Condi? Not really a tough question, is it? One is credible, bright, articulate and has a track record of dependability. The other is Bill Clinton. CLICK HERE.

In fact, Clinton's own advisors at the time are not backing up his story.  Maybe Monica will come to his defense. CLICK HERE.

70,000 WELCOME SAINTS BACK TO THE SUPERDOME.
September 26, 2006 - 10:59

I told you yesterday that the Falcons better show up ready to play or they would get their hats handed to them by an emotional Saints team. The Dome was rockin', and the Saints got rolling early! Saints win, 23-3. CLICK HERE.

"HOUSEWIVES" WINS RATINGS BATTLE FOR PREMIER.
September 26, 2006 - 11:02
"Desperate Housewives" kicked off the new television season with a big win on Sunday night, but they pulled in about 5 million fewer viewers than they attracted for the premier last season. CLICK HERE.

September 26, 2006 - 11:05
The Harold Ford, Jr. For Senate campaign says they are leading by 6 points in an internal campaign poll. The Corker team says "it ain't so." This race will be a battle down to the final moments. CLICK HERE.

Now if we can just get the right to carry our toenail clippers again, all will be right with the world. Bring on the gels and liquids! CLICK HERE.

ANOTHER DEMOCRAT INSIDER CAUGHT UP IN SCANDAL.
September 26, 2006 - 11:26
The Democrats nationally have tried to make a big deal out of so-called Republican scandals (like the linkage between Republicans and Jack Abramoff - who gave to both Dems AND Republicans). But in Tennessee it is clear that the Democrat-controlled legislature and Governor's office are the centerpoint of much, much worse. Between the state trooper scandals, the Tennessee Waltz arrests and convictions for bribery of state legislators, cash payments to Democrat Senator Jerry Cooper (who is also under indictment for bank fraud), cozy loans from lobbyists to a friend of ECD Commissioner Matt Kisber, Democrat Rep. Ben West failing to pay nearly a MILLION DOLLARS in federal taxes, etc., etc. Where is the media in linking all these stories about corrupt Tennessee DEMOCRAT politicians together? CLICK HERE.

REMEMBER THE "MISSING" EGYPTIAN STUDENTS?
September 26, 2006 - 13:55

Do you recall the Egyptian students who disappeared once they reached American shores rather than show up for a college program that was supposedly their purpose for being here? Well, three of the students have now been ordered deported. Despite the fact that they ADMIT violating the terms of the arrangement by which they were granted entry to our country, they are now talking about appealing the deportation order. They have no right to be here; and should never be allowed back under any circumstances. CLICK HERE.

FLORIDA DEMOCRATS UNITING BEHIND REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR CANDIDATE.
September 26, 2006 - 14:02
If Republicans were jumping ship to help a Democrat candidate for Governor, you can bet this story would be getting a lot more play in the media. And the Dems that are getting behind Florida Republican nominee for Governor Charlie Crist are not just a few businessmen or people who have not been real partisan in the past, they are key Democrat political operatives for some of the top Democrat leaders in recent Florida history. CLICK HERE.

OBAMA RAKES IT IN.
September 26, 2006 - 14:23
When Barak Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate he probably had no idea what sort of financial windfall lay just ahead for him and his family. Thanks to a nice book deal and a big promotion for his wife, his family pulled in more money last year than in the 7 years combined. CLICK HERE.

CLINTON CONTINUES HIS ROLE AS LIAR IN CHIEF.
September 26, 2006 - 20:36
If you cite a book to back up your story, perhaps you should read it and make sure it really does back up your story. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
