LONGEST LIVING PRESIDENT DIES AT 93.

Gerald Ford, who served well as the nation's only "unelected" President (since he was not elected as either VP or President), has passed away at the age of 93. He served as President, after Richard Nixon resigned, for about two and a half years. CLICK HERE.

An Iraqi appeals court has upheld a death sentence for Sadaam Hussein. Iraq law requires the sentence to be carried out within 30 day, but the execution can happen anytime within that time frame. CLICK HERE.

President Bush clearly misread the election results from November. Voters did NOT reward those who raised taxes. In fact, voters in Ohio and Indiana were so upset with tax raising REPUBLICAN Governors that they spanked just about any Republican they could find on the ballot in those states. Now President Bush intends to raise taxes to placate the Left. 2008 could be a bloody repeat of 2006 for Republicans if the GOP Congressmen and Senators go along with the plan. CLICK HERE. |
