MATHENY ON STEVE GILL MORNINGS MONDAY AT 7 AM TO DISCUSS SMEAR.

State Representative Judd Matheny (R-Tullahoma) announced that he has received a series of emails sent to him and the Tennessean falsely accusing him of having an arrest record.
The sender's account name on the emails is Harold Morphew @ yahoo.com, the name of a deputy sheriff in Putnam County, who worked with Matheny closely when Matheny was a Tennessee narcotics agent in Putnam County in the 1990's. Deputy Sheriff Morphew denies that he sent the emails.
When the emails were traced by Bell South, they were found to have originated at an internet connection account under the name of Doyle Lewis, Jr., assistant Commissioner of Commerce and Insurance. He has held that position since appointed to it by Gov. Bredesen in 2003.
To obtain a subpoena to trace the email, Representative Matheny filed a John Doe lawsuit in Coffee County Court two weeks ago charging defamation of character, slander, and libel. With the exposure of Lewis, his name will now be added to the suit.
Deputy Morphew plans to file a civil suit against Mr. Lewis for defamation also. Mr. Lewis's daughter-in-law previously worked for Deputy Morphew.
In addition, a criminal investigation of federal and state charges, including impersonating a police officer, harassment, and identity theft, is being developed against Mr. Lewis and related parties, both inside and outside the Bredesen administration. Representative Matheny has asked the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) to assist in the investigations.

ARE TERRORISTS INVOLVED IN LICENSE SCHEME?

A few years ago a drivers license scam was being investigated in Memphis. The day before the hearings were to begin a woman at the center of the investigation died in a mysterious car wreck and fire. I don't recall ever hearing much more about this. With the latest arrests involving the sale of Tennessee driver's licenses, it might be worth a look back in order to remember the national security implications of what is at stake and the fact that terrorists still want to kill us.

One of the reasons cited by Kerry is the fact that conservative columnist Ann Coulter likes Alito, so Kerry doesn't. A candidate for Governor in Pennsylvania, the current Republican Lt. Governor of the state, just fired his campaign manager after the guy referred to Republican candidate Lynn Swann as the "rich white guy in the race." Swann, for anybody who is a total moron and unfamiliar with him, was an NFL Hall of Fame receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is also black; and will be called "Governor" if the people of Pennsylvania have any sense. CLICK HERE.

SNIPER PUNISHED FOR CHALLENGING ILLEGAL ORDER.

When an American soldier was told by an Army lawyer that he could not use the type of sniper ammunition he needed to do his job in Iraq he challenged the female officer and provided her with information that caused her to reverse her position on the issue. But the sniper is still being punished by his commanders for violating the rules, despite being cleared of the charges against him. War is tough enough without having to deal with the red tape and bureaucracy that the Army keeps putting in the way of our fighting men and women. CLICK HERE.

I will admit that I fail to understand teen fads. I didn't even understand them when I was a teen. But the latest fashion fad for teens in Thailand involves braces (not suspenders, by the way, the kind that straighten your teeth). It's the hot new look.
