SEN. FORD HAS TWO HOMES BUT NEITHER IN HIS DISTRICT SEN. FORD HAS TWO HOMES BUT NEITHER IN HIS DISTRICT
January 28, 2005 - 05:23
While the State House and Senate Republicans continue to show themselves to be gutless wonders in pursuing ethics investigations into the apparent misdeeds  of their colleagues, the Tennessee Republican Party Chairman is doing his job by requesting an opinion from the Attorney General regarding Sen. John Ford's qualifications to served in the State Senate. Will Senator Ron Ramsey (alleged R) have the guts to launch a Senate Ethics Investigation into Ford? Don't hold your breath. But the Tennessean finally gives coverage to a story we have been talking about all week. Better late than never, right? CLICK HERE.

ANOTHER MEMPHIS POLITICIAN WITH OUT OF WEDLOCK BABY ON THE WAY ANOTHER MEMPHIS POLITICIAN WITH OUT OF WEDLOCK BABY ON THE WAY
January 28, 2005 - 05:25
Just days after Sen. Ford's personal population explosion hit the news, Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton, 64, has announced that he just learned he is the father of a 4 month old baby himself. He is not married to the mother. Again, I ask, how can the black community deal with the horrific social and economic impact of the flood of illegitimate children in their community when the so-called leaders in the black community are a major contributing factor to the problem? CLICK HERE.

JOURNALISTS WERE ALSO ON THE CLINTON PAYROLL.
January 28, 2005 - 05:29
The mainstream media has been quick to assault (and properly so) radio host and columnist Armstrong Williams for his acceptance of $240,000 from the Bush Education Department to promote the No Child Left Behind Act on his show and in his column. But other journalists from the LEFT have also done much the same thing, with no media outcry. CLICK HERE.

BREDESEN COOL TO IDEA OF CONSTITUTIONAL BAN ON INCOME TAX IN TENNESSEE. BREDESEN COOL TO IDEA OF CONSTITUTIONAL BAN ON INCOME TAX IN TENNESSEE.
January 28, 2005 - 05:33
Governor Phil Bredesen SAYS he is against a state income tax, but doesn't like the idea of a constitutional provision that would more specifically ban it. Seems he likes to talk the talk, but doesn't want to walk the walk. Why would he want to leave the option open, if he is REALLY opposed to a state income tax???? CLICK HERE.

HEY, MR. ED REALLY WAS A ZEBRA. HEY, MR. ED REALLY WAS A ZEBRA.
January 28, 2005 - 10:41
A caller today indicated that the horse on Mr. Ed was actually a zebra. I checked the ultimate urban legend website and did not find anything under the "television" or other listings, but apparently they have the story stashed under the Lost Legends section. Bottom line? Mr. Ed was in fact played by a zebra rather than a horse. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
