BREDESEN FINALLY EMERGES FROM COVER OF DARKNESS.
August 28, 2006 - 12:15
Governor Phil Bredesen emerged from the shroud of secrecy that has kept him hidden from public view for two weeks and held a brief press conference earlier today. He says he still does not know what caused his illness but that he is back at work no worse for wear, except for having lost 10-15 pounds. Hmmm, I might need a little of whatever he had. Everybody is pleased that the Governor is apparently recovering from whatever he had, but the issue of how he and his staff handled the matter is not over. Including the fact that his pilot apparently filed a false flight plan to cover up his return to Tennessee from the Mayo Clinic. CLICK HERE.
Here is some analysis of the Governor's press conference from A.C. Kleinheider. CLICK HERE. |

KARR WILL NOT BE CHARGED; DNA DID NOT MATCH.
August 28, 2006 - 16:27
Most experts were suspicious of John Mark Karr's confession in JonBenet Ramsey case from the beginning. Looks like the suspicious approach was the right one. Send him back to Thailand...in the luggage compartment. A few years being gang-raped in a Thai prison will serve him right. The fact that anybody ever hired this psycho to be a teacher underlines the problems that we face in our teacher-union dominated education system. Karr is the type of teacher only a union could love...and protect. CLICK HERE.

DEMOCRAT SENATOR KATHRYN BOWERS TO RESIGN.
August 28, 2006 - 16:51
Indicted Democrat State Senator Kathryn Bowers is resigning from the State Senate and asking that her name be taken off the November ballot. She cites "health problems" as the reason, but look for her to plead guilty in connection with the Tennessee Waltz bribery scandal in the next week. By resigning and withdrawing from the campaign, she will keep her Tennessee taxpayer-paid lifetime pension...despite a looming federal felony conviction. The Democrats will pick someone to fill her spot on the fall ballot. Hey wait, I thought Democrats didn't like it when someone withdrew from a campaign and asked that a replacement candidate be named? Oh, that was when Tom Delay, a Republican, sought to withdraw from a congressional reelection. If he had been a Democrat it would have been ok, right? CLICK HERE.

YEAH, I ALWAYS THINK OF DELAWARE WHEN I THINK OF THE CONFEDERATE SOUTH.
August 28, 2006 - 16:34
Senator Joe Biden is trying to defend his chances as a presidential candidate running in the deep south by claiming that his home state of Delaware is very similar to, say, South Carolina. Biden claimes that because his state was a "slave state" and has a large black population that means he is in tune with the attitudes and history of voters in the Old South. I bet he will even take to wearing a Rebel Flag belt buckle to prove his affinity for southern history. May he can use the General Lee from "The Dukes of Hazzard" as his campaign vehicle. CLICK HERE.

DEMOCRATS SEEN TO TAKE CONTROL OF HOUSE, SENATE IN FALL.
August 28, 2006 - 09:13
Democrat political strategists remain confident that the party will retake control of the U.S. House and are close to taking control of the U.S. Senate. In fact, James Carville says that if the Dems can't win in this political environment the whole premise of the party should be questioned. Are you ready for Speaker Pelosi? CLICK HERE.

FOX JOURNALISTS FORCED TO CONVERT TO ISLAM AT GUNPOINT.
August 28, 2006 - 09:38
"Become a Muslim or we will kill you" was the message to Fox News journalists Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig. So they converted, until they were released. What a religion of "peace and tolerance." Join us or we will kill you; and based on the track record of Islam they certainly mean that killing part. Where is the outrage in the so-called moderate Muslim community in the U.S. over this dispicable display of what Islam is really all about? The silence speaks volumes, as usual. CLICK HERE. |

MUSLIMS NOW TARGETING FREE SPEECH IN AMERICA.
August 28, 2006 - 09:59
The Islamic community in the U.S. is regularly silent about the outrageous murders and other atrocities committed in the name of Islam around the world. Now they apparently want to force the rest of us to be silent about the abuses committed in their name as well. The Islamic Society of Boston is attacking a local talk host for speaking out and booking guests critical of radical Islam. CLICK HERE. |

ERNESTO DOWN TO TROPICAL STORM, BUT MAY STRENGTHEN AGAIN.
August 28, 2006 - 09:21
On again, off again hurricane Ernesto has been downgraded to a tropical storm today. We are still headed to Gitmo (in Cuba) later this week...at least at this point. Tune in to the Saturday morning show for post-Hurricane analysis and details about what we see at the terrorist detention facility. CLICK HERE.

EMMY PARODY OF PLANE CRASH HOURS AFTER CRASH SEEN AS TASTELESS.
August 28, 2006 - 09:17
Only Hollywood would make fun of plane crashes hours after 49 people are killed in a plane crash. It is amazing that they showed such self-restraint after 9-11 isn't it? At some point they will figure out why so few of their "comedies" attract an audience, and why most of their movies don't make money. CLICK HERE. |

GAS PRICES DROP 15 CENTS IN LAST TWO WEEKS.
August 28, 2006 - 09:25
Hmmm, just when summer vacation ends. What an amazing coincidence. This will definitely put an end to all that speculation about the oil companies gouging the consumer and manipulating prices, won't it? It is past time for a full and detailed investigation of the oil industry and the price fluctuations that seem all-too coordinated to be an accident. Putting a couple of CEOs from Exxon and BP in jail might drop those prices, don't you think? If not, I would still feel better about what we are paying to know that some of the oil execs who have raped the consumers for so long are getting a taste of their own medicine. CLICK HERE. |

DOES RELIGION MAKE YOU FAT?
August 28, 2006 - 09:31
A sociology professor from Purdue University is claiming that there is a correlation between religious affiliation and obesity. What a crock! It is not like they are serving up nachos and chicken wings during services for the Lord's Supper. Those all-you-can-eat buffets AFTER church are the more likely culprit for fatness rather than what people do before they dine. And what about all those fat folks who are missing the Sunday services? CLICK HERE. |

CAREER WOMEN UNDER FIRE.
August 28, 2006 - 09:50
A Forbes columnist penned a column that guys shouldn't marry career women because they are likely to cheat, put off having kids until they are infertile, are lousy housekeepers and are generally pretty miserable. Apparently he prefers slightly retarded, high-school dropouts who keep an immaculate house and think moving up to a double wide trailer is the mark of real success. CLICK HERE. |
