SEPARATING FACT FROM FICTION ABOUT 9-11. SEPARATING FACT FROM FICTION ABOUT 9-11.
March 29, 2005 - 10:32
Conspiracy theorists have a lot of stuff to play with in connection with the horrors of 9-11. But how much is fact, and how much is fiction? What do we know; and what do we THINK we know? Popular Mechanics deals with the details in the latest edition. We'll talk through it Wednesday morning. CLICK HERE.

RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS SAY CANING CAN CURE YOU. RUSSIAN SCIENTISTS SAY CANING CAN CURE YOU.
March 29, 2005 - 10:34
Nothing like a beating on your bare buttocks to distract you from your other problems, like alcoholism and depression. It IS hard to drink without spilling your vodka when someone is caning your bare butt. "Thank you, sir, may have another." CLICK HERE.

COULD BESLAN HAPPEN HERE?
March 29, 2005 - 10:35
The horrific terrorist attack on a school in Russia captured our attention, but did we learn anything from it? Perhaps not. A supporter of Islamic terrorism has been arrested on charges of providing material support to terror operations. He was a former assistant school superintendent in Detroit...before he became head of facilities for Washington, DC public schools. If you were a terrorist planning an attack, wouldn't you want someone fully familiar with the landscape on YOUR team? CLICK HERE.

MORTON KONDRAKE FACED SCHIAVO TYPE DECISION.
March 29, 2005 - 10:35
Columnist and Beltway Boy Morton Kondrake faced the same tragic decision as Michael Schiavo, so his column on the topic should carry some weight. CLICK HERE.

MAYBE SHE IS A HOTTIE BY HARVARD STANDARDS. MAYBE SHE IS A HOTTIE BY HARVARD STANDARDS.
March 29, 2005 - 10:36
A female librarian at Harvard is suing for sexual discrimination claiming she was denied promotions because she is too pretty and dresses sexy. If justice is truly blind, she might have a case. (Granted, I do find her more attractive than Martha Stewart.) CLICK HERE.

SUNDQUIST PROBE MAY MEAN TROUBLE FOR GOP.
March 29, 2005 - 10:49
While the media has paid some attention to the latest scandals involving Sen. John Ford, they have been less interested in the continuing prosecutions of those in the inner-circle of former Governor Don Sundquist. A few convictions and the Republicans may face more problems than the Democrats on these two issues. CLICK HERE.

March 29, 2005 - 10:56
Arnold was the picture of fitness and strength in the movies. As Governor of California he is starting to slip a bit. He still looks awfully good compared to some of his extended political family...like Ted Kennedy. CLICK HERE.

SHOULD AMERICAN TAXPAYERS PAY THE TAB TO BAILOUT THE BIG THREE AUTOMAKERS?
NO WAY, NO HOW!!!
YES, THE INDUSTRY IS MUCH TOO IMPORTANT FOR US TO LET IT FAIL.
IT DEPENDS ON THE TERMS OF THE DEAL. WHAT INTEREST RATE WILL THEY PAY FOR THE CASH? WHAT DO WE GET AS COLLATERAL?
LET'S BAILOUT TWO OF THE THREE AND LET ONE FAIL. THEY SHOULD COMPETE TO BE IN THE TOP TWO BY CUTTING COSTS AND WAGES!
YES, BECAUSE WE CAN SAVE THEM JUST LIKE WE SAVED THE BANKS, INSURANCE COMPANIES, ETC.
NOT SURE.
