MORE DETAILS EMERGE ABOUT THE "FLYING IMAMS".
December 2, 2006 - 08:47
The mainstream media continues to cover up the truth about the Flying Imams. Read and pass along. These guys were anything but "innocent" and they were up to a lot more than "praying quietly." CLICK HERE.
Here are even more details, including links to the police reports. CLICK HERE.

KNOXVILLE DRUG KINGPIN HAS FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES.
December 2, 2006 - 07:30
Apparently it pays to have friends in high...uhm, places. Drug dealer Scott West, who helped his brother deal tons of marijuana in Knoxville over the past several years, has been sentenced to 75 months in federal prison. He will also have to undergo rehab for his addiction to another unnamed drug. (Clearly he was not just involved in marijuana.) Many of the political and financial elites in Knoxville have come to the defense of this major drug kingpin over the last few months, including writing letters to the court asking for a light sentence for West because he helped spur some downtown Knoxville real estate development. Of course, the fact that he was rolling in illegal and tax free cash probably made it easier to fund his projects. CLICK HERE.
Ultimately, this deal will backwash on Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and we will certainly hear a lot more about this when he starts trying to make a run for statewide office. CLICK HERE. |

DRUNK ILLEGAL KILLS MARINE HOME FROM IRAQ.
December 2, 2006 - 07:38
We all deserve better than this; but it is particularly disgusting that one of the brave young men defending our freedoms abroad gets killed at home because our elected officials will NOT SECURE OUR BORDERS! This ought to make you sick to your stomach. When will American citizens get angry enough about this stuff to force those who pretend to represent us to get the illegals out of our country? They are murdering us to the tune of 12 a day. They are killing another dozen a day on our roadways as drunk drivers. 25 of our fellow citizens die EACH AND EVERY DAY at the hands of illegals while our so-called leaders sit on their hands. GAYLORD PLANS TO DOUBLE SIZE OF OPRYLAND HOTEL.
December 2, 2006 - 07:40
The best news is that, unlike the proposed half billion dollar Nashville Convention Center, Gaylord won't ask taxpayers to pay for it! What a concept! They are also looking at some sort of amusement park like the Opryland of old. CLICK HERE.

December 2, 2006 - 07:47
As has long been expected, Deputy Governor Dave Cooley has resigned his position effective January 15. A probable replacement is Finance and Administration Commissioner Dave Goetz, who will return the position to a more policy-oriented focus as a new Chief of Staff will also be added to the Governor's senior staffing. Look for Economic Development Commissioner Matt Kisber to emerge in Goetz's spot at F&A. CLICK HERE.

December 2, 2006 - 07:51
4 different propositions passed overwhelmingly by voters in Arizona in November, each of which targeted illegal immigration, got 40-50% support from the state's Hispanic voters. Don't expect to hear about this from the pro-illegal mainstream media. CLICK HERE. |

THP NEVER ACTUALLY INVESTIGATED POLITICAL INFLUENCE CLAIMS.
December 2, 2006 - 10:21
Apparently the THP leadership and the Bredesen Administration lied...again. The Tennessean buries the story on page 6B of the Saturday edition while promoting Gerald Nicely as their "Tennessean of the Year." CLICK HERE. |

TROOPS BODY ARMOR SO BULKY THAT THEY CANNOT FIRE WEAPONS.
December 2, 2006 - 08:21
British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have to take out the metal plates of their body armor in order to fire their weapons. The new body armor design cost about $32 million, but apparently nobody thought about the fact that protecting soldiers is only PART of the equation. Having the ability to shoot back is pretty important, too. CLICK HERE.

IS IT REALLY A NATIVIY SCENE IF THE MAJOR PLAYERS ARE MISSING?
December 2, 2006 - 07:55
In what clearly appears to be a bow to political correctness, a West Virginia town has a Nativity scene...but without Mary, Joseph or Jesus. Doesn't that mean that just have a barn in their town square? CLICK HERE.

MUSLIMS TELL PIG FARMER TO MOVE AWAY.
December 2, 2006 - 08:00
A new mosque is being built in Houston. And the community surrounding the property where the mosque is planned are not happy about it. But one neighbor, who raises pigs on his property, is particularly ticked off because the Muslims told him he needed to move away. So he is getting ready to hold Friday night pig races on his property as soon as the mosque opens. CLICK HERE. |

MISSED IT BY THIS MUCH...
December 2, 2006 - 08:05
An ambulance crew in England was transporting a patient 12 miles, but relied on their computer navigation system and went 400 miles out of the way. After an hour, don't you think they should have double checked where they were...and where they were going? CLICK HERE. |
