RASMUSSEN POLL SHOWS TENNESSEE UP FOR GRABS BETWEEN MCCAIN AND ROMNEY!
February 2, 2008 - 07:37
A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows John McCain with a narrow lead over Mitt Romney among Tennessee Republican Primary voters heading into "Super Tuesday." McCain has 32%, Romney 29%, and Huckabee is at 23% in the latest poll. CLICK HERE.
Romney is also withing the margin of error in California. This poll was BEFORE Giuliani and Ah-nold endorsed McCain, but will those endorsements help in the REPUBLICAN primary? CLICK HERE.
Finally, Romney and McCain seem set to divide the delegate count fairly equally around the country on Super Tuesday, meaning neither will deal a death blow on the other. Huckabee is McCain's salvation, bleeding off enough conservative votes to deny Romney the opportunity to coalesce conservative and pick up big wins in states like Alabama, Illinois, California and Missouri, for example. If McCain gets the nomination he will owe the Huckster...big time. Will he reward him with the VP slot? CLICK HERE. |

EARLY VOTING IN TENNESSEE SETS RECORD; KNOX COUNTY LEADS THE WAY.
February 2, 2008 - 07:31
If early voting is the key, then Tuesday's Presidential Primary vote in Tennessee will set records. Over 320,000 Tennesseans have already cast votes! CLICK HERE. |

DELEGATE COUNT AFTER SUPER TUESDAY MAY TAKE A WHILE.
February 2, 2008 - 10:31
22 states are up for grabs on Tuesday, but there are a lot of quirks that may make winners hard to decipher in many states. Plus, in Alabama two counties (Baldwin and Mobile) on the coast have already gone to the polls while the rest of the state has to wait until Tuesday. Those coastal counties shut down for Fat Tuesday to party down on the last day of Mardi Gras, so the voting date had to be moved up. With the choices available this year, getting drunk before you vote might be a necessity!!! CLICK HERE.
Here is one detailed analysis of how Super Tuesday may lay out on the GOP side of things. I think the breakdown is about a 100 delegates too friendly to McCain and shorts Romney by the same amount. CLICK HERE. |

NEW AD BLISTERS MCCAIN AS "SURPRISINGLY LIBERAL."
February 2, 2008 - 07:20
By going off the radar for about 6 months, John McCain avoided the scrutiny he would have received from conservatives and the media until it is almost too late. Will ads like this make a difference? CLICK HERE.

MOVEON.ORG ENDORSES BARACK OBAMA.
February 2, 2008 - 07:54
The same folks who ran the dispicable anti-Petraeus newspaper ad have decided to back Barack. Ok, even if it is McCain, I will crawl over broken glass to vote against Barack Hussein Obama on this basis alone!! Barack says he is a "uniter"...riiiiiiight. CLICK HERE. |

SOME CONSERVATIVES ARE WARMING TO MCCAIN.
February 2, 2008 - 09:02
Interestingly, the ones warming to McCain seem to be the ones with a vested interest in lobbying. CLICK HERE. And the media seems to be looking for even the tiniest shreds to hang their "conservatives are warming to McCain" stories upon. CLICK HERE. |

MCCAIN SAYS HE DOES NOT LISTEN TO RUSH LIMBAUGH.
February 2, 2008 - 13:51
Not surprising. McCain has no interest in anything that conservatives have to say. He also didn't listen to constituents in Arizona who complained loudly about his amnesty bill. CLICK HERE. |
