DEMOCRAT MAJORITY LEADER TOOK TICKET PAYOFFS!
May 30, 2006 - 07:29
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid took thousands of dollars in tickets to expensive Vegas fights from groups seeking to influence his vote on new boxing legislation. The same guy who talks almost daily about "Republican scandals" sees nothing wrong in his own behavior. Maybe we should just call him Double Standard Harry. CLICK HERE.
HARRY GETS CAUGHT ON TAPE, JUST LIKE CONGRESSMAN JEFFERSON. LET'S CHECK HIS FREEZER, TOO!! |

LEGISLATURE ENDS SESSION IN SHAME.
May 30, 2006 - 07:30
On the final day of the legislative session, it was business as usual with the corrupt and criminal House Speaker Jimmy Naifeh leading the way. Two bills were passed illegally, but don't count on Governor Bredesen to fix things with his veto pen. And the Republican-controlled State Senate did nothing to stop this travesty either. When the Republicans come up short this fall, the leadership they showed on Saturday will be the reason why. CLICK HERE.
By the way, RINO Rep. Charles Sargent of Williamson County (who apparently really likes to make Naifeh happy) led the amendment to raise legislative pensions. CLICK HERE.

CBS REPORTER REMAINS IN CRITICAL CONDITION.
May 30, 2006 - 07:30
A IED explosion in Baghdad killed a U.S. soldier, two CBS employees and left a CBS reporter severely wounded. It is dangerous business, but doesn't the media seem more interested when one of their own gets injured than when our soldiers get injured or killed? CLICK HERE.

May 30, 2006 - 07:33
Wedding nights may be lacking the romantic edge of the past as more and more couples are "too tired" after the nuptials to consummate the marriage. Maybe it is because more couples have already "been there, done that" by the time they get married?!?! CLICK HERE. |

CONNECTICUT MOVES TO LIMIT FOOTBALL MARGINS OF VICTORY.
May 30, 2006 - 10:12
Connecticut high school football teams who outscore their opponents by more than 50 points will earn their coach a suspension under a new rule imposed by the state athletic association. The desire to impose a "good sportsmanship" rule is a good one; but the means are pretty silly. A backup cornerback who intercepts a pass late in the game can't score? There will always be jerks in sports, but limiting the scores is not the answer. CLICK HERE. |
