IS A PARTY SWICH LOOMING IN TENNESSEE?
February 3, 2006 - 08:49
State Senator Don McLeary, a Democrat from Jackson, Tennessee, has a press conference scheduled in his hometown at 5 pm today where he is expected to announce his switch to the Republican Party. McLeary was the lone Democrat in the Senate to vote for the fraud ridden election of Ophelia Ford to be voided. Will he or won't he? A switch would have a huge political impact, as Republicans would increase their majority in the Senate to 18-15, virtually assuring a Republican Lt. Governor next year, even if RINO Michael Williams continues his allegience to the Democrats. That means lobbyists, and the PAC money they control, would be more evenly distributed between the parties than it has been in the past, with the overwhelming majority of PAC dollars flowing to the Democrats who have held power for decades. In turn, that would make it less likely that the Democrats will defeat a few GOP incumbents and win back control of the Senate. This is BIG, if it happens. CLICK HERE.

PEACEFUL MUSLIM IN AN UPROAR.
February 3, 2006 - 08:50
Today may be a day of violence around the world as Muslim clerics are calling for a "day of rage" over cartoons printed in a Danish newspaper that they feel "slights" Mohammed. Their response? Killing, burning, kidnapping, looting and chanting. Yeah, it's the "peaceful" response we would expect. CLICK HERE.
Here are the offensive cartoons that have set off the "peaceful and tolerant" Muslims.

Now, here is the recent cover of Rolling Stone with Kanye West portraying Christ. Plus, you had the outrageous NBC series "Book of Daniel" and the upcoming episode of "Will & Grace" mocking the Crucifixion. Have any Christian preachers called for kidnapping, murder and burning in response??

PATRIOT ACT EXTENDED FOR FIVE WEEKS.
February 3, 2006 - 08:51
Revisions of the Patriot Act are being negotiated, so the Senate extended the applicability of the Act for 5 more weeks to give negotiators more time to reach a deal. The extension passed by a 95-1 margin. If the Patriot Act is really so bad, why is there nearly unanimous support to extend it? CLICK HERE. |

All that money we are spending to rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina is starting to have an impact. Looks like they have reopened the Hooters in New Orleans.
