MORE GAINS FOR OUR SIDE IN THE WAR ON TERROR.
September 3, 2006 - 17:58
At least that is how these news reports will likely be reported by the Mainstream Media, if they are not totally ignored.
First, Coalition Authorities announced the capture of the 2d ranking Al Queda leader in Iraq. More terrorists get captured or killed pretty quickly following these sorts of announcements, as phone records, "pocket trash", and other information gleaned during questioning lead Coalition Forces to other terror cells. CLICK HERE.
And it has also been reported that 200 Taliban fighters were killed and another 80 captured during a fierce fight in Afghanistan. Notice that the CBS report expresses skepticsm about the casualty numbers, but the media always accepts whatever the terrorists say without question, whether it is reports of abusing a Koran, torturing prisoners, targeting civilians, etc., etc. Nevertheless, over 200 terrorists are now taking the permanent dirt nap and will never cause any harm to anybody again. CLICK HERE.
Two stories representing major good news in the global war on terror, but don't expect to hear much about this. |

INDICT FITZGERALD FOR OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE?
September 3, 2006 - 18:02
It turns out that the Special Prosecutor who was investigating the Valerie Plame "outing" knew all along that the targets of his prosecution did not do it. And he apparently advised the one who did disclose the information about Plame working for the CIA to "keep quiet." It seems he is a lot more criminally culpable than poor Scooter Libby. CLICK HERE.
Here is a pretty good column that analyzes the media's disinterest in the revelation about who REALLY outed Plame. Since it was not a Bush loyalist, the story gets buried. CLICK HERE. |

SAVE A PLACE FOR HIM IN HELL.
September 3, 2006 - 18:14
The latest "convert or die" video from Al Queda features an American convert who tells U.S. troops to switch sides and to quit fighting "W's" war. His comments could have come from most Democrat candidates for Congress this year, minus the turban. He is from California, and I am betting he is a registered Democrat. Any takers? CLICK HERE.

FRIENDS OF HILLARY SAY SHE MAY PASS ON PRESIDENTIAL RACE.
September 3, 2006 - 18:21
Some of Hillary Rodham Clinton's closest friends are whispering that she may not run for President in 2008 and may instead move to lead the Democrats in the Senate. With problems on the Left and huge negatives from everybody else, she may be correctly determining that she has no chance to win in the current political climate. Becoming the Democrat leader in the Senate, and potentially Senate Majority Leader, may look like a better bet for the short term. She retains power, visibility, and viability for a later run. Not a bad strategy for a person with unlimited ambition and absolutely no conscience in pursuing that ambition. CLICK HERE. |

VOLS CRUSH CAL TO KICK OFF 2006 SEASON.
September 3, 2006 - 18:27
The setting looked the same. The color scheme was the same. Even the quarterback was the same...but then again he was not the same. It was certainly a different team from the one that meandered from loss to loss, disappointment to disappointment, just one year ago. Great win, but I am holding off on hotel reservations in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game for just a few more weeks. CLICK HERE.
