RADIO TOPS NEWSPAPERS AS CHOICE FOR NEWS.
October 4, 2006 - 17:31
Although television remains in a slight lead over radio as the top source for news among Americans surveyed by LexisNexis, radio is ahead of newspapers. And although blogs and internet sources are growing, they still lag way behind the big three when it comes to where Americans go to get their news. CLICK HERE. |

MAYOR WANTS TO REVISE CIVIL WAR HISTORY?
October 4, 2006 - 07:30
How do you have a Civil War reenactment if you ban the Confederate flag and don't allow the "soldiers" on either side to carry guns? While the Confederate battle flag may stir some strong emotions by some, it is a historical fact that the flag flew at the very battle being reenacted in Franklin, Tennessee. If there is one place where it is appropriate for the flag to be flown it would be at a Civil War reenactment. This is just political correctness run amok. And Mayor Miller should remember that the American Flag flew over slavery for a lot of years, too. CLICK HERE.

IF FOLEY WAS A DEMOCRAT WOULD ANYBODY BE TALKING ABOUT THIS?
October 4, 2006 - 07:42
If Congressman Foley was a Democrat, would there be an uproar over his pursuit of young boys? CLICK HERE.
The answer, of course, is NO! For example, a Democrat congressional candidate in NY actually billed taxpayers for his calls to a sex hotline. Will the "moral" wing of the Democrat Party call for him to withdraw? CLICK HERE. |

FLORIDA PAPERS COVERED UP FOLEY PERVERSION BECAUSE HE WAS GAY?
October 4, 2006 - 20:38
It appears that some House Republicans were not the only ones who suspected that Congressman Mark Foley had an inordinate interest in young male pages, several Florida newspapers also had a chance to review the emails that were "questionable." At least one, the Miami Herald, acknowledges that the fact Foley was gay kept them from being too aggressive with the story. If the House Republicans had taken any action against Foley based on the emails (which are not nearly as explicit as the IM "conversations") they would have been acccused of homophobia by the same Democrats who are so anxious for investigations today.
