February 4, 2008 - 12:11
...you can stop wondering. He just signed on as the Grand Marshall of the Mule Day Parade in Columbia the first week in April. CLICK HERE. That Coke commercial with James Carville during the Super Bowl was a pretty good clue, too. CLICK HERE.

DELEGATE COUNT PREDICTION!
February 4, 2008 - 15:49
After Super Tuesday, John McCain is almost certainly going to be only half way to the delegates needed for nomination, with about 550 delegates. Romney will have about 450. I think the delegate count between the two will actually be even closer than that. Here is a pretty good analysis of the state by state counts on the GOP side. CLICK HERE. My own prediction is that McCain will get less than this analysis predicts, as will Huckabee, and that Romney will actually do a bit better. Most of the polls show Romney with some momentum while McCain and Huckabee seem to be slipping a bit. |

FORMER PENNSYLVANIA SENATOR RICK SANTORUM ENDORSES ROMNEY.
February 4, 2008 - 07:19
He will tell us why he picked Romney when he joins us on the show Tuesday morning at 8 am Central time. CLICK HERE.
Juan McCain continues to rack up endorsements from liberals and the media lackeys of the left like the NY Times and LA Times, oh, and Latino newspapers in California. CLICK HERE. McCain is even having problems with his own home state. CLICK HERE.
The article notes that conservative Senator Sam Brownback, who was also an advocate of the Amnesty plan touted by McCain and his pal Ted Kennedy, is backing McCain. But the article does NOT mention that Sam received McCain's fundraising support after his ill fated campaign to pay off his campaign debts. Now McCain is apparently sharing his fundraising lists with Mike Huckabee to keep that faltering campaign alive to draw conservative votes from Romney. Money talks in politics; but in this case the sellout for cash is pretty disappointing.
Those who do back McCain seem intent on attacking those who see him as a flawed vessel. That's not a great strategy for getting conservatives on board if he does secure the nomination. CLICK HERE. |

MCCAIN SUPPORTERS ARE GETTING TESTY.
February 4, 2008 - 07:14
The Don Sundquist koolaid drinkers are lining up behind John McCain, you remember them, they are the ones that wanted an income tax for Tennessee despite overwhelming opposition from taxpayers. They didn't like talk hosts then, and they don't like us when we expose RINOs like John McCain either. Their skin is apparently as thin as their chosen candidate's skin. Note that Scooter Clippard can't respond to any of the issues raised about his candidate. Speaks volumes, doesn't it? CLICK HERE.
And the latest national polling STILL shows McCain unable to close the deal. Rasmussen Reports has McCain at 33%, Romney at 30%, and Huckabee at 23%. TWO-THIRDS of REPUBLICANS still do not support McCain. CLICK HERE.
By the way, McCain's campaign staff is also heavily laden with lobbyists. That is certainly the way to change "business as usual" in Washington isn't it?!?!?! CLICK HERE.
