NOVAK: ROMNEY WELL ORGANIZED IN IOWA.
August 5, 2006 - 14:02
The Presidential straw polls and primaries are still a little ways off, but Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is apparently putting together an impressive ground force in Iowa. Romney got rave reviews from his visit to Williamson County Friday night as well. When you look at success in presidential races, GOVERNOR Reagan, GOVERNOR Carter, GOVERNOR Clinton, and GOVERNOR Bush may give some insight as to what background has worked best in the modern political era. GOVERNOR Romney and former GOVERNOR Allen (now Senator from Virginia) are certainly worth watching at this point. CLICK HERE.

FEDERAL DEFICIT AT LOWEST POINT SINCE 9-11.
August 5, 2006 - 14:07
Democrats, who saw unparalleled growth in the federal budget deficit for 40 years, now scream about how bad it is. Keep in mind that President Clinton was projecting deficits for as far as the eye could see...until the Republicans took over Congress in 1994. We had surpluses, thanks to tax cuts, for years after that. Then 9-11 happened. We have bounced back thanks to the Bush/Republican tax cuts. We would be in a depression if President Gore would have been in office, because he would have RAISED taxes in response to 9-11. Don't expect to hear much about the economic good news from the mainstream media. CLICK HERE.

DESPITE HEAT WAVE, CHICAGO IS COOLER THAN LAST YEAR.
August 5, 2006 - 14:13
Algore will never acknowledge this, but so far this summer it has been over two degrees COOLER in Chicago than it was last summer. I wonder how Nashville and Tennessee measure up? CLICK HERE.

INVESTIGATOR SAYS U.S. IGNORED WMD SITES IN IRAQ.

Just because we have not found massive quantities of WMD in Iraq does not mean they are not still hidden there. CLICK HERE.

BUSH CLAIMS BORDER IS NOW SECURED.
August 5, 2006 - 14:23
I'm not making this up. The President of the United States claims that he has kept his pledge to secure our borders and that now we should start letting in more foreign workers. Is he nuts????? Only half of the National Guard troops that he claims are on the border are even there. For some reason, this President is so committed to giving amnesty to criminals that he has taken complete leave of his senses. CLICK HERE.
