BIN LADEN GETS A PASS FROM PAKISTAN.
September 5, 2006 - 21:07
Here is the problem. The radical Islamists in Pakistan are threatening to overturn the more moderate government of Pakistan. The President has a tenuous hold on power, and he recognizes that aggressive pursuit of Bin Laden (or even allowing U.S. forces into Pakistan to capture Bin Laden) could force him from power. The Islamic Jihadists that would likely emerge in control of Pakistan would have access to nukes. Just imagine the Taliban and Bin Laden with Pakistan's nukes in their hands. That is why the U.S. has taken a soft approach to pursuing Bin Laden in Pakistan. There are things worse than Bin Laden still being on the loose. CLICK HERE.
